We have ate here a few times. Great food. My biggest concern is. All employed personal, servers are all white! Now, husband and I are German. Lately, since the media has been airing that races is alive and still Exist. Didn't believe. But, we live here in HV. But, most of restaurants in neighborhood shows, media is correct. We will not support this. Love this place. Not enough to support a place that is not equal opportunity.

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a great value and fun atmosphere. This location especially is amazing. It is right on the river with a great path to walk along the river. The also have great windows to be able to watch the river while you eat. The staff are very friendly and service is excellent. The food is great for the price, its hard to beat having a 3 course meal. Great place for families and a a great location to bring friends if they are from out of town. Highly recommend.

Early (4:30PM) Arrival...seated in a beautiful window table. Friends from Mississippi in our group...comfort food enjoyed. Only issue was a milkshake order that we reminded the server 3 times that it had not come. It was finally delivered at the end of dinner and a Caesars salad that we had to ask for dressing. Semi-minor issues for a wonderful place,but they should have not occured. We will be back though!

Lovely setting, beautiful building, creative seating, waterfront views, accurate and friendly staff, good quality food. Enjoy a variety of both spaghetti sauce choices as well as pasta choices, fresh house salads and house made dressing as well as fresh baked breads.
Though prices have steadily climbed steeply year after year, the atmosphere and standard of quality has remained high. I think $15-18 is at the top of what they can expect to charge and will now reach the peak. Many of my friends, co-workers and clients I have treated their have agreed that they are at the top of the price list and further price increases would mean that they will no longer dine at the restaurant.
The classic dining room overlooks the Williamette River. I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the cuisine (although I must admit that I had confused the name if the restaurant with "The Spaghetti Factory" chain restaurants).
The service was not as good as I would have hoped, but the food definitely made up for it.
I love spaghetti factory. I have never had a bad dinning experience at any one that I have gone to. With that said this is by far the best one I've ever been to. The service at this restaurant has always been good and the food is always More

I've heard so much about this place (ALL GOOD COMMENTS, NEVER HEARD A BAD WORD) & I still haven't eaten here, yet! But I was picking up for a delivery & it was my first time being inside... For a family friendly place and having no dress code requirements, it's by far one of the best looking places I've seen in a very long time. Definitely the most interestingly attractive! Great Staff, Awesome Enviornment! I just can't imagine anything bad about the food...

The environment was excellent and the food was very well prepared , and although it was one of thier busiest times , I got in very quickly . The next time I visit in Portland Oregon I would make time to come back here 1st .
Getting a table took forever. Good and service were good after the long wait.

First visited Old Spaghetti Factory in Hawaii and wasn't impressed. The South Waterfront restaurant is quite the opposite. The location is great with plenty of parking. The atmosphere is live. The staff is welcoming. The food is delicious. The server was great. Drinks were kept full. Bread was warm. Soup tasted fresh. Main dish was flavorful.
This place looks fancy but it isn't expensive! I really recommend this place if you like Italian food.

Epically-tasty Greek-inspired pasta dishes with more sauce options than you can shake a stick at. Their white clam sauce is the best, in my opinion, and a garden salad with their in-house Creamy Pesto dressing is the most satisfying salad I've ever had.
The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the river, and one can see all the way south to the Sellwood bridge, of they stand at the window.

The place is beautiful and timeless but the food lacked in variety and flavor.
6:30pm Thursday, 19 Apr 2018: waited 10 min for a 2 person table in a 25% occupied restaurant. That's cool, I know the old "about 10 min, maybe buy a drink in the bar while you wait" trick to increase revenue.
Host walks us through a long path past many empty tables & booths, to seat us at the most cramped 2 person table I've ever seen. One side had the waitstaff workstation against a chair, the other side had another diner jammed in just as tightly. We squeezed in, sat for about 2 minutes, and gave up. We walked, so I don't have anything to say about the food or waitstaff.
They won't lose any business or money from this review, they've got a good situation going (plenty of free parking, nice location, decent prices, ability to seat larger groups).
Was difficult to decide on 3 or 4 stars. Great service on phone, very polite and helpful. Ended up ordering online, which was very simple. Pick up was flawless.. And although the food was good, by the time we could eat, food was cold. Nothing to eat with. Had to request utensils from hotel. Not even napkins. Pretty disappointing, especially that they received a $$ tip with payment, prior to pick up. Decided to give 4 because the good outweighed the not so good.
FYI, hotel mentioned "happens all the time".
Took granddaughter for her birthday. Her meal was free with coupon we provided, however no real fanfare from staff for a 10 year old. The meat sauce on my spaghetti was mediocre and very sparse. Overall the prices for spaghetti were high and the quality was mediocre at best. Not likely to return here. My wife and I ordered a draft beer, the waiter did not ask if we wanted a 16 or 20 oz, he brought the 20, which increases the bill for tipping. My salad was very poor quality, made from iceberg lettuce with most of it being pieces nirmally disposed of.
It was ok. The shrimp of my dish was cooked perfectly but they didn't clean properly and I found the waste still in one of them. Couldn't eat any more after that. Also the past was undercooked. Had good flavor though. Also, the bread knives they give you, we tried multiple, are the worst bread knives ever. Bread was good, just impossible to cut. The building though is stunning!
A nice place with some good pasta on the menu. Had the cheese ravioli and completely enjoyed it. The space is gigantic! Lots of family and large events.
My food was yummy and the service was very nice. And the server laughed at our terrible jokes!

Food has been pretty good, but service has been minimal or ok at most. 1 visit, I hardly saw my server & she didn't bring my ice cream that came with my meal (on a hot day...that sucks). If I didn't have to go, I would have flagged someone & gotten my ice cream. But alas...plentiful parking
