Staff are absolutely lovely, so kind and excellent regarding covid regulations. The place is spotless and so homely inside. Will be returning ASAP

Same old Old Castle, been coming for years and will return, I'd like to see Alison back behind the bar but time move on

Haven't been here in years. Nice old fashioned pub. Under new management as of 3 month ago. Not sure if they do food, didn't ask didn't check.

A good old fashioned pub with plenty of atmosphere and great staff.

The place is under new management it has been painted inside and deep cleaned, the Traditional feel incorporated with the modernist deco gives this pub a warm and happy vibe. This is definitely going to be a place that will be busy after the COVID restrictions are lifted. The toilets are spotless. The smell of moth balls has disappeared. The beer Garden is a really nice surprise, this is a town centre pub in Bridgend. But it has a feel of a country pub. There is a really good selection of beers, Lager wines and spirits. Nice to see happy bar management and staff. I am sure this place will be the perfect place for couples, families and date nights. It will also be a dog friendly pub. So anyone who feels guilty about having a drink and leaving their dog at home can now have a drink with their dog.
Can t wait to have a girls Prosecco night here

Just been for two sunday Carveries which you don't even help yourself is brought to you, worst meals we've had in a long time with gravy was like water as well,also did not like been seen the Carveries being placed out in the garden being cut with all the Flies
