This hotel is called as a luxury hotel in Saint Petersburg, Russia!
But I can say it is a normal 5 star C!
This hotel fitness and spa is too small and as a guest you must pay for Jacuzzi and pool, it is really unacceptable.
It's breakfast is like 4 star hotels.
Behind my room there is a company or something that every day they make lots of noise by so loud music!

Me and my partner did enjoy absolutely everything of our stay at the Hotel.
The staff was very welcoming and clear during the check in and check out process.
The room was clean, quiet, spacious and with everything needed; the bed was big and super comfortable.
The breakfast was rich and with a great variety. The staff of the restaurant exceptional and polite.
We also used the room service for dinner and that was impeccable as well.
I had some treatments at the SPA and that was exceptional too.
It was my birthday and The Manager sent to my room a lovely cake and a card! Very much appreciated.

This hotel claims to have an indoor pool. It's actually a large hot tub and they charge $20 to use it for 2 hours.

The hotel food is not fresh or well prepared.

The management argue with you about minor charges. For example I am an iPreferred member and supposed to receive free breakfast, but they charged it to us when we left, which just leaves guests with a bad impression.

It's too bad because the physical hotel is pretty and in good condition.

Nice new hotel, rooms are comfortable and large however there are no views at all. It's designed in a grand scale but due to the building it's not that impressive once you get past the reception area.

It's not very in the best area as it's quite far away from anything of interest.

Staff are nice but room service was terrible. You had to ask several times before it would go through or arrive at your room. Used their TV based order system but they never got the orders. For example took 45mins to get a coffee...

This is a very elegant 5 star hotel, with an occasional pianist and harpist in the lobby and even an accordionist who played during breakfast. Mikael at the front desk was particularly helpful at answering innumerable questions and helping us get from one place to another. All the staff were very kind and welcoming. The only drawback we had was that the front desk would not call a City Cab for us so we pretty much forced to use their hotel car which was about three or four times more expensive than the cab would have been. They said the cabs were not safe but we had discovered city cabs were, provided a hotel called them and asked for the rate before we took the cab. In one instance, we simply went to another hotel and had them call us a cab. We were told that the cabs on the street were the ones where you can get really cheated. And the hotel is not really central so you almost need to take a cab wherever you go they did have a free shuttle to the Hermitage.

Best non-chain hotel I've stayed at.

Best non-chain hotel I've stayed at.
Pros:
- great breakfast, on weekends with pancakes and very good red
- my T-shirt was washed and ironed in 2 hours !!!!
- live music - harp !!! This creates an indescribable entourage.
- interior. You can walk along the corridors admiring the paintings
- great location
- vip access to the Hermitage
Minuses:
- there was no shower in the room

Will definitely stay at this hotel next time
