Food to die for. Game pie and chips and veg. Love it.

Very friendly staff, food was excellent . Room was dated, but very clean, only complaint was only one pillow was provided and that was a bit thin.

Lovely place to have a drink and have a wonderful meal, great atmosphere and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. They also offer b&b accommodation and spa facilities.

Clean, well-kept, nicely situated accommodation. Not a great selection of liquor, but the offered breakfast was lovely. At this price, it's a really good deal.

A nice carvery 8.29p over 60 o.a.p. was good i had beef n turkey an veg beer was v.nice the bitter gd car park too

Very clean, staff friendly, it is an old building but the rooms are very comfy.
The food was normal, a Big car park.
Only some little problems: smell toilet in ground floor, need a little bit more maintenance but isn't a problem.

For the price, the place is a bit of a dump and their "Free Wi-Fi" may as well have been nonexistent, slow as a snail if you were able to connect at all, which we were not.

Breakfast, a mediocre buffet, is only served from 8:30 to 9:30 AM and checkout is at 10 AM, so pre-planning is essential, especially if you have an early morning departure (you must notify them by 9PM the night before). As you will see below, their policies seem to favor themselves rather than the paying customer.

When I asked the bartender why there was no internet in our room and unable to connect in the common areas, she threw up her hands and told me "what do you want me to do about it?". Explaining to her that "free Wi-Fi" was advertised when we booked the room and that I needed it for work, she looked at the local standing next to me and said "what would people do without internet these days?". When I commented on her rude and unhelpful response, she said she would do something about it, but never followed through. We were unable to connect that night and the next morning before leaving.

A nice hotel/pub, food was good, we had both a evening meal and breakfast and both were good quality. Would deffinatly go back again.

Marketed as Dog friendly,yet when I asked the answer was only in bar,dogs not allowed in rooms.
Not Dog Friendly!!
