Amazing museum with a large variety of art on display. Ranging from different eras of history and from cultures I don't think anyone would be disappointed to visit this museum from ancient China to Ancient Egypt to contemporary U.S there's a little something for everyone

We had a great time here, the fact that it s a free museum is so cool! They had the monet water lillies on display while I was there, with really nice lighting that s meant to show different times of day. You can really see what colors are prominent during different phases of the sun which was really beautiful. I also loved the Asian art displays which incorporated actual walls and ceilings from temples & even houses during the different eras. It was so fascinating and the entire building itself is a work of art.

This Exhibit is not to be missed if you live in Kansas City Mo and surrounding areas. Local African American Artists and so much more. Definitely a beautiful day with family, Students or Solo Dolo like me. I enjoyed it immensely.

Great collection. Great museum. We particularly liked that the rooms were styled in the same theme of the pieces. It felt like traveling to different places and times. The garden is also very beautiful.

Such a cool and comprehensive art museum with some of everything! The modern and contemporary galleries were fabulous and held a large collection of interesting pieces. The Native American galleries were so informative and beautifully curated. I was especially surprised by the Egyptian exhibit that really made me feel like I was inside the tomb myself. This museum does an excellent job of designing each gallery to be as full of an immersive experience as possible. We tried to see it all in a full day but you could easily spend 3 days here learning and reading! Staff was so helpful and kind as well. The courtyard with the shuttlecocks was great to lounge in the late sun too. Plus it's all free!!!
