I was hopeless finding this 1 book from my favorite author, turn out this place has this collection. Such a relief

Love this amazing shop and beautiful to see my book up on the shelves, Face of Faith How the broken pieces of my past turned into a magical life, selling in the shop, I even was able to sign some today

Comparatively small to some of the other state libraries but worth the visit nonetheless! Great changing exhibitions as well!!

Fabulous place to visit but even a more fabulous place to explore online. Thank you so much NLA for your wonderful resource TROVE. I couldn't do my research without it. This place is a true National treasure.

Nice place to study but the security guards seem more interested in stopping you from bringing a bottle of water into the library rather than the power dynamics they represent. ACAB.

Beautiful building and helpful friendly staff. An amazing space for reading and escaping from the world for a few hours or for the whole day.

It's been a while since I went to the major gallery. It looks smart and respectful. The reading room is augmented with the micro fiche and film readers. Excellent facilities.

It all the same thing as all of are the Library !!!

Interesting free exhibitions, great collection and bookshop.

Very nice exhibitions at the moment, some great pieces and info on the discovery and settlement of Australia, and the marketing is fun just to wander through quickly and see the changes of the decades.

For some reason I found different photos of this place online and when I arrived there I was shocked. Don t expect a tradition library with lots of books. This is a modern one. Nice to go around. One of their volunteers were so nice and explained a lot about the place for us.

Beautiful building. There are sometimes interesting exhibits on - check the website. There is also a huge range of books you can request (to read inside, you can't remove them from the library). You need to apply for a card to use this service.

Been here a couple of times for their changing exhibitions. Never been disappointed.

Great place to study. Large comfortable reading rooms, modern computers and fast free internet. I can comfortably spend all day here.

Top spot to visit in Canberra. Great cafe with an artistic bohemian clientele .
