Good place to see, experience and explore art. Recommend to start from 5th floor and walk your way down. The 5th floor has the collectibles, which I assume are the most priced peaces there. The place has free Friday evenings, before pandemic erra.
Not really a museum person myself but there was definitely some art here that caught my eye and had me contemplating life. I would recommend checking out the larger installations, they're fun to walk around and look at from different angles. There's plenty to check out here and it's well worth the price of admission. Even the bathrooms are art! There's also a nice restaurant on the 6th floor to take a break. Didn't try any of the food but the cold brew is solid.
Always a great place to spend some time.
I enjoyed the Automania exhibit even though it was on the small side. Compared to the other temporary exhibits.

The Museum of Modern Art is an art museum located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Great museum - great discount for students so make sure you take your student card! First two floors are more modern arts but the fifth floor is where all the old goodies are. Picasso, Van Gogh, Chagall, Monet, Munch, etc. You name it - all the big names are there. I wish I skipped right to the top floor to see all these arts because by the time I got to the top floor I was so exhausted that I didn't get to see all the arts. I would 100% go back in the future to revisit those pieces. They also have very nice gift shop with lots of fun souvenirs and gifts you can buy!
If you like art, you will enjoy this place. So many floors full of many different types of art pieces. A bit for every palette
Incredible experience, full of culture and important art work. A most visit place. Pleasant and easy to navigate. Could be seen in half a day. Also had a glass of wine in the patio. Great experience.
I'm not a big fan of modern art but I went to see the Van Gogh.
I liked seeing the crowd and atmosphere here which is very different from what is seen at the Met. MoMA attracts a much younger, energetic, crowd which leads to a vibrant atmosphere not seen in many museums.
Very nice Museum with very interesting collections! The cafe a d restaurant have pleasant food too.
