Modern Edge provided everything we needed and much more! Karen was extremely helpful on the business and planning end of things, and worked tirelessly with us through some unexpected snags in approval and payment. You couldn't ask for a more friendly or helpful contact. Michael is an amazing chef - the food was TOP notch - and he spent time helping and serving our guests and thoroughly cleaned and organized everything after the event. Best catering experience I have ever had. Thank you!

I had an amazing experience with Modern Edge Events from day one. When it came to our wedding, we were wanting to make it as cheap as we could. They were able to work around our budget and give advice on how we could save money. They constantly made us feel like we were super important and worked wonderfully around our schedule. When it came to our wedding night, they went above and beyond in helping with everything. They made the set up of food (a buffet) extremely easy, they worked with other vendors in order for the guests to be comfortable, and were very friendly during the whole thing. Our guests raved about their food! We had the bar-b-que buffet, and people were constantly asking where we got our caterer from. I would highly recommend them for any type of event. Modern Edge is very creative, and will make you feel like you made the right choice. I, personally, am extremely grateful to have them as my vendor!!

Modern Edge did an amazing job at our Junior League fundraiser. Thank you Karen! The goat cheese mushrooms were delicious.

If I could make this a 0 star review I would make it negative 100 stars because of the negligence of this company and their audacity of not even a sorry from the owner for the over serving of alcohol that their employees did that caused the death of our very close friend. Especially on a night where it should be filled with love and memories. Now all my friends and I will remember, the brides especially, our friends wedding anniversary as the same day that one of our greatest friends left this world. I warn you if you care at all about your friends and family that are attending your event, stay clear of this company. Its a matter of being certified and knowing when to cut someone off when they have reached their limit. As well as providing "to go" cups filled with straight vodka because they claimed they could not give out the bottle but would fill cups up to send them with the guests including our friend. That's ABSOLUTELY illegal and should be looked into. This death caused a lot of horrible pain for the people there and the witnesses of it. DON'T USE THEM IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES!

Our company, Marzano Research, has used The Modern Edge Events & Catering on two different occasions, one for a company holiday party and another for a high profile client event. Both times the food and service was spot-on and exactly what we'd hoped for. The level of personalized service and attention to detail continue to exceed our expectations and it's always a pleasure to work with the staff.

Karen and her crew were absolutely outstanding. They helped our wedding day go off seamlessly. My momma and I did most of the planning going up to our wedding day and used Modern Edge as a 'day of' wedding planner, however, they were awesome and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. Karen is very professional and she put all my worries at ease- she knows what needs to be done and handles it. Her staff is friendly and my favorite kind of event staff- as in you would hardly know they were there because they are never in the way, only around when you need them, and they make event flow perfectly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR WEDDING! A day that was supposed to be full of love, happiness, and celebration turned into one of the worst days imaginable thanks to Karen and her company Modern Edge Events and Catering. I attended a close friends wedding that used Modern Edge events and Catering and I would be completely horrified to use them for my wedding.



These bartenders OVERSERVED MY FRIEND WHO LOST HER LIFE to alcohol posing very shortly after the Togo drink incident.

I am aware there were other issues with this company and Karen hasn t even responded to the bride who kindly reached out to try to prevent this from happening to any other wedding group again. Karen clearly lacks professionalism in her business and staff, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

We used The Modern Edge for our corporate banquet this past Saturday and had the most amazing experience. From our first conversation to our last, Karen was professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure our event was a success! The food was absolutely delicious and her staff were qualified and super friendly. The event went off without a hitch. We had about 200 guests with passed hors d'oeuvres and and a buffet style dinner! Modern Edge staff even went so far as to help the venue staff with a room flip for the evening entertainment. What an exceptional company to work with!

Karen created a wonderful menu for an outside picnic for 100. Everyone loved the food. It was fun working with Karen. She allowed me enough freedom to do the part of the picnic that I wanted to do. She and her team were great to work with. I highly recommend Modern Edge. Very professional, flexible and accommodating to meet your needs.

I won a Candy bar from the Modern Edge through Villa Parker's "Wed Wonderfully Bridal Show". Modern Edge set up a beautiful display that complimented the theme of my wedding and was a huge success with all my guests. Modern Edge was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Modern Edge Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! They did the catering, bartending and day-of-coordinator services (Nikki was fantastic!) and the event was flawless. They were prompt when answering questions and had good suggestions during the planning process. They made our big day so easy, all we had to do was show up and be guests at our own event. It was really nice to be able to focus on the day itself and not have to worry about any details. The food was most excellent and our guests are still talking about the amazing Prime Rib station. They were able to work in our budget and went above any beyond at each step of the process. A big thank you to Mike, Karen and their entire team for making an unforgettable night for us!!

I am an event manager for a medium-sized corporation and Modern Edge is my absolute go-to for events catering. Not only is their food quality great, but their prices are reasonable, and their staff are some of the most friendly I have encountered. The team at Modern Edge has pulled through for me last minute may times and I will continue to use them almost exclusively for my catering needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a no hassle experience with a catering and events company.

What a great find! We started working with Modern Edge Events and Catering a few months prior to our wedding when another caterer we had planned fell through. Karen, the owner, was amazing to work with. She was so thorough in discussing all the options we had, and was so helpful in arranging all our rentals as well (dishes, glasses, linens, etc.). She was flexible and helpful and it was very very easy to work with her.

Her and her staff did an amazing job serving at our wedding as well. Many of guests commented on how professional and kind the staff was. The food was absolutely amazing!! We still have guests that talk about the steak. We had multiple people ask for Modern Edge Events and Catering contact information because the food was so delicious. The presentation was wonderful and all around, it was a pleasure working with Karen and her staff. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our wedding. Their rates are incredibly reasonable compared to other caterers and I did a very extensive search of caterers in the area. All around you can't go wrong with Modern Edge. I highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer!

I worked with Modern Edge on a fundraiser, and from the minute we started collaborating I knew we were in good hands. Emily's responsiveness was lightning-fast, the staff arrived on the event day with smiles, ready to rock, and the food was yummy!

I can't say enough about this Caterer. The food was classy and spectacular, the service even more spectacular! it was such a treat to enjoy a Corporate Holiday party in our home! They cleaned up perfectly (after setting up perfectly and serving perfectly and refilling drinks in a timely fashion, specific to each person's drink!) The crew saved all the leftovers in containers of ours and left the kitchen so nice. I would do this again before Christmas, that's how easy it was! We fed neighbors the left overs the next day and they all loved them too!

Modern Edge catered my wedding in early September. Karen was easy to work with and the food was delicious. Everything went off without a hitch, thank you!
