Decent Blueberry Scone. I wanted to try a few other pastries, but had some self control on this particular day. I was in the area wine tasting and wanted to get something quick before the wine part of my day. Huge selection of baked goods. Coffee and sandwiches as well.

The downside here was the lack of service. I stood in front of the pastries for some time trying to decide and the 2 girls behind the counter never acknowledged me. After deciding, I made my way over to the register where I asked for the scone. They also don't have a restroom here, so you probably don't want to consume your drinks here either. I was told to go use the gas station restroom nearby. I quickly ate my scone and left.

Good pastries, not great though, good coffee, friendly staff, really good English muffins, famously. Raspberry tart ok, lemon brulee interesting but too sweet, almond croissant fresh but unbalanced filling.

OMG what is not fantastic. The raisen bread, English muffins and walnut bread are my favorite. Everything is made fresh daily, I know I baked there in the 80's and all products used are top notch and cooked in an open brick oven

Lovely local bakery. Great bread and pastries. Their English muffins are famous and I mean Oprah famous. (They're her favorite and there's good reason)
Breakfast sandwiches, yogurt and granola. Also regular sandwiches and pizza by the slice.
Coffee/espresso drinks are available and good.
A few tables inside and a couple outside.
Expect a line depending on time of day.

Oh man. We bought the cook book for Model bakery a couple years ago and finally made it here! It's as good as the hype. The fruit tart we had was the best ever. Great English muffins, which is what they're known for.

The Model Bakery has the best breakfast sandwich that I ve ever had. The English Muffins are out of this world. Whenever we are in the valley we start our day at The Model Bakery. It is the best way to start the day.

This is the kind of place that REALLY makes me wish that I could eat gluten. I came with a group that all ordered breakfast sandwiches. English muffins are their specialty (in various forms - they have a few iterations plus an english muffin loaf), and they all looked and smelled amazing. My friends who live in the area rave about this place and from the smell alone, I understand why. Coffee was good, if not slow on the service (whether or not it is crowded doesn't seem to matter).

A friend and I were in town and pretty much stopped at the first cafe we found for breakfast. The coffee was delicious, although they could have had a better system for getting guests their beverages quickly (that's what the one star is knocked off for). Names would be called once from various corners of the cafe, so several hot beverages were left waiting on the counter b/c the customer didn't hear or know where to go. We were there just before a rush around 8am, and while we didn't have a line, there was a long line right after we ordered. I ordered the Veggie & Egg breakfast sandwich, which I had no clue would be on an English Muffin I'd never forget. Literally, the English Muffin was the highlight of my meal... maybe my day. My friend had another egg breakfast sandwich, which I know she was disappointed that the cheese was not melted at all. I'm sure she could taken it back & asked for it to be heated up, but we were on a time crunch. I'd definitely go back, but I now know to ask for cheese to be melted & to pay super close attention to where your beverage order ends up.
