As an artist from Kentucky I was taught a lot about the Met. Though no class could've prepared me for how wonderful it was. There was pieces in the met I would never have imagined being a massive as they were and even some so delicate and small with just as much detail as some of the more larger one. I would 100% recommend the met for any artist or art student to go a gather inspiration from. If you're a local and haven't been yall really need to go to experience the art work of the past.

This is hands down the best museum I have ever been to. There is so much to see, so I'd recommend planning to be here 4+ hours at least. Pricing is affordable at $25/ticket for non-residents. Check online to see if any exhibits are closed, there were a few closed exhibits for New York's Met Gala event, which was disappointing because we weren't expecting that. Otherwise, come prepared to be in awe of the incredible history here.

Absolutely amazing. This is the gold standard of what a museum should be. You'll definitely need hours to fully explore.

I love the Met. It was my first visit since the pandemic and the Met never disappoints. Everything felt safe and clean. The redone exhibits are absolutely gorgeous *especially* the Egyptian exhibit. The Indigenous exhibit is also beautiful.

You could spend months in here and not see everything. So much art. And so beautifully set up. So much to see and learn. It can get VERY crowded on holiday weekends.

It's simply amazing. You never know what you are going to find around every corner. It's amazing how many treasures are there.

Flagship attraction in NYC. A must stop for all tourists and New Yorkers.

World renowned exhibits and collections. Has multiple special exhibits throughout the year.

Would recommend getting a membership if you are within driving distance of NYC. The membership supports the museum and will pay for itself if you visit a few times.

Cannot bring food into the museum. Multiple food options outside if you don t want to pay museum food prices.

The impressive museum is definitely one of the best in the world. The inside is huge, so it will take more than a day to visit. It contains collections from every part of the world. I hope you can enjoy the journey.

Not all areas of the museum are accessible, so if you re in a wheelchair, make sure you understand this before going. Most areas are accessible, there are only a couple of exhibits that have stairs.

The roof deck is amazing with panoramic views. We had a wonderful time.

I love going after the Met Gala and seeing all the beautiful fashion. This year I feel fell a little short and wasn t quite as exciting but that s just me. Some of the pieces were true Art and had me gasping but others were basic. I still enjoyed my time and took lots of pictures
