Wonderful 2 star hotel. Great customer service and very clean. Located in a great spot right near the Columbia Station Skytrain. The building is 126 years old and is the second oldest building in New Westminster BC. 1 of 2 to survive the great fire that destroyed the city in 1896.

We were hanging out at the bar checking out their burger (yummy but a bit messy) and the local patrons. After several games if pool (not a bad table) my friend from Whistler cleaned up and we daparted ahead if the game.

Check it out if you are looking for some local color.

Well situated near the river and close to Columbia Station. Large rooms well equipped but in a very used condition (renovation is neccessary). A bit noisy if your room is backwards. You hear skytrain and guests at the terrace of the pub. The staff is not very professional. They just trying their best.

This is my favorite place to stay in Vancouver! It was recently remodeled and is even better. The rooms are quite spacious and if you choose a front facing room, you usually get a great view of the pier. There is a large public parking lot across the street that you can buy a pass and leave in your car instead of going to the parking lot kiosk every day. It also has a nice bar right next door which has good food and an outdoor seating area. You also get a discount card to use there when you check in to the hotel. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I highly suggest taking the Skytrain which is literally steps away from the hotel to travel around Vancouver. I love this place and this is my 3rd time at this hotel. Great hotel if you don't mind an older hotel. The only downside I'd say is how hot the lobby and elevator get because of no a/c. The rooms do have a ceiling fan and a/c so it does keep cool inside the rooms. Highly recommend!

A decent enough, and clean hotel, in a restored heritage building. One of the only buildings on Columbia that survived the Great Fire of New West in the early 1900's. The staff are fantastic, in the pub and the hotel, tho the place (particularly the bar) could use a face lift.
The establishment would likely be doing far better if there weren't scruffy, intimidating drunks perpetually smoking and loitering directly at the pub/hotel entrance.
NB the pub WILL permit minors prior to 8pm (i think) provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Also, the garden patio behind the building is worth checking out during summer months.
