I was a patient here for depression and just a really terrible self image. The staff (techs and nurses) are so helpful and supportive I really felt them rooting for me to be my best self. I get that there are imperfect people in place and that the system needs tweaking. I just wanted to give another perspective.

Hello Dr. If you reply! (This is Tevy, if u remember me ;v;) Anyways, the place was pretty good! Most people were very nice, and it wasn't a BSD place at all. My only issue is with one staff, I do noicremeber their name but my mother sad the were very rue on the phone. Another is the cleanliness, its rather dirty and people walking around in that IMO is unsanitary, though its probably very difficult to run this place, so that makes some sense. Don't listen to other peoples reviews people, this place is pretty good!

A family member stayed here to get better. Sadly, the majority of the staff at this facility are unprofessional. The staff answering the phones seemed to always be in a rush and are unable to effectively communicate. Communication is most important in these types of facilities which they heavily lack in most aspects. I only wanted to speak to my family member during their specified time slot. I was told the phones were all tied up. I would not recommend this facility if keeping in communication with a loved one is important or being updated with important information as it occurs is something you value.

You get brought there and aren t told anything. This was my first stay anywhere like this they weren t through my things showed me my room and that was it. I was never told you had group therapy sessions to go to and all you do is literally pace the halls, color, or talk to the other residents in the same unit as you. (This is the adult unit ages 18+) you don t get any type of treatment you talk to a doctor once then do group therapy with them and a therapist and they decide what to do with you. And then don t make it clear to you what s going to happen. Don t get me wrong the staff is all wonderful friendly nice. The doctors and therapists are too but the place is so under staffed and over ran with with residents it should not be allowed to be opened right now. They give you meds and don t tell you they re starting you on these meds until it s med time and they come searching for you and you have no choice but to comply unless you want to be stuck in there longer than you have to be. The treatment you get there is literally the conversation you have with the friendships you ve formed while being locked up in there. And it s filthy. The cleaning staff(one single woman from what I could tell) doesn t know how to clean anything. Pieces of lettuce were left to sit on the floor of the group room from my first day there till the day I left. I was there for 7 awful days. It s unclean and understaffed.

went while i was 16 and one of the nurses there said to another nurse (while working on the minors unit) that they wish they could work on the adult unit instead because at least they have real mental illnesses and weren t just attention seeking kids love that for her go queen generalize us and tell us our mental illnesses aren t real love the professional attitude

gave three stars cause the food kinda slapped when i was there though

After reading these reviews I m terrified for my 11 year old!!! I pray to god that she will be ok, as that we live 3 hours away from here!! If I sense any kind of mistreatment best believe I will be there before the staff members can even blink!! As parents we entrust you people with our children and for legal reasons you better hope you fixed all the problems that these other folks stated!!!

I personally didn t have that bad of an experience here, but from a former patients personal experience here, the techs didn t really help and some would choose certain people to talk to. I had several anxiety attacks while in there, and nobody would help so I d just go back to my room and sit on the heater looking out the window. I was fortunate enough to be somewhat liked by techs there and was given privileges to help the techs do certain things. I have a close friend that went there, a few days before her discharge she suffered with self harm and would beg and plead for the staff to let her stay longer because she was having suicidal thoughts. She got out but ended up getting sent back after my discharge, she still was only kept for a week or two and when she was discharged, not only a few days later ended up taking her life. I feel that the staff in the could ve taken more action, helping her with her issue, but instead discharged her after she admitted she was having suicidal thoughts. My counselor when I was in there, she wouldn t help at all and she in fact pushed an issue that was apparent by forcing family sessions after I said multiple times a second one wasn't necessary. The unit manager treated the patients like they were in trouble. The day I got there, I got admitted to my room at around 6-7:30 after being up for 24+ hours and I finally got to sleep, only to be woken up again a few hours later and getting in trouble for sleeping. Most of the techs I liked, but a select few weren t really the best. I feel that this would be best for a select few, but others not so great.

This is the worst facility for children under the age of 18. Other facilities provide children with schedule, ensure kids shower daily, and connect with schools. This facility does not! In addition, they provide no zoom meets during covid unless parents insist. Children are sedated not medicated nor receive any of the help needed. My granddaughter came home from here sedated and received no serious help which is what she was in need of. Communication between therapy team and parents is horrible. Staff turnover is high...no consistency... they are in this for the money alone and stays are determined by insurance plan so if your plan pays 3 months that is the diagnostic timing your child will receive needed or not. STAY AWAY!

Had an awful experience, most of the time there no one noticed that people were having panic attacks in their room, my former roommate died shortly after being discharged, I literally saw it on a newspaper. This is an awful place and I do not recommend. Even though i had the shortest time there, it did not help me at all. I had very bad anxiety, to the point where when I was in quarantine I was scared of being stuck in there the whole time. My friend had been here once and all they did for her was tell her it would be alright, and once she got out she attempted again. I already had a bad experience myself but honestly others have had it worse.
