Well done to everyone at the Marcliffe! A full house for the SCDI Annual Lecture and flawless delivery from the moment we arrived, the pipper, the pre-dinner drinks and delicious finger food, and the meal! Very tasty starter and the beef for the main course was very generously sliced, succulent and just the way I like it. All severed to a couple of hundred hungry guests. Another great evening! SCDI did a great job with SERCO's CEO Rupert Soames as the guest speaker.

It was a wonderful experience, lunch ch at The Marcliffe today.
up to its usual high standard. Our son drove to Aberdeen from Edinb. just to have lunch with us at the Marcliffe since he is not allowed to visit us at home with these strange Covid rules in place.

Loved the atmosphere and the service is a high class service , breakfast was good as well, the best fudge around the globe. The spa service was a amazing as well. Although it s an old building but well maintained. They need to pay more attention to how clean is the bath tub. The bathroom has a bath tub and a shower I understand that most people don t use the bath tub but some do sometimes

Had a lovely drink in the lounge followed by an amazing Sunday lunch! Every staff member was genuinely friendly and attentive, from the waiter who suggested wine pairings for our meals to the chef who noticed when we were looking to get our bill and sent a waitress our way. Would highly recommend for a special meal or occassion!

Visited the Marcliffe restaurant, with the family on a Sunday evening We called before hand to make a reservation, and the polite staff were kind and thouough. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted with our coats taken to a cloakroom. At the end of our meal the chef was mindful in asking how everything tasted. The food and service was great.
Will deffinately be returning soon.

Had a meet & greet for our Veterans & Uniformed Services charity ICARUS at this beautiful venue yesterday, to promote awareness and spread the word about what we do!! It was also an opportunity to get to know our little team!
The Marcliffe were kind enough to provide a space to do this and laid on afternoon tea for our group which was excellent!! The staff were extremely attentive to our needs, efficient, pleasant, good humoured and very professional! On behalf of Icarus and all who attended our event, I would like to thank The Marcliffe Hotel management for their excellent service & congratulate them on the quality of their staff!!
I would highly recommend this Hotel as a venue for any function you may have in mind!!

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Sometimes you ll see deers and squirrels on the hotel grounds. A lovely place to have a cup of coffee or tea and start the day in a relaxing place with utmost high standards of service. We had the opportunity to spend Christmas Eve dining in the restaurant and the service was impressive. They have a huge collection of wine and of course whiskey. Highly recommended place to have breakfast, tea, lunch & dinner.

Well it is the Marcliffe! 5 star score for 5 star hotel. Food and service are second to none. Very professional and friendly staff, perfect for special occasions. Popular venue for black tie events and celebrities. Expensive hotel, but very much a pay for what you get situation. If offered a chance to go to the Marcliffe, take it, you wont regret!

Good afternoon tea. Great service.

Good afternoon tea. Great service.
Would have liked more sandwiches as when cut get 4 small bits as only get 2 slices bread with crusts off. An extra 2 would be better as well as one more hot sausage and black pudding roll as very small.

the hotel because I have never stayed there. I do know that the owner is a bigoted fossil who said that he will never employ "poofs" in his hotels and so I will not be staying there EVER!
