The Lounge Hair Studio Review

I recently visited The Lounge for the first time - Mervin was my stylist. He did an outstanding job on my hair, it was an absolute disaster in terms of color. I couldn t be more happier with the results!! He is passionate about his work and truly cares that he achieves your hair goals! He is a very kind person and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation throughout the appointment. I most definitely will be returning to him, making him my permanent stylist!

I went into the Lounge Hair Studio for the first time this past Saturday to do what most gals dread, cut more than 2 inches! Frankie was my stylist and I couldn't have asked for anyone with more patience and confidence in what I was asking for. I went in with a lot of breakage/damage from bleaching my hair and it was looking sad to say the least. Frankie gave me a cut that has not only brought my hair back to life but my spirits as well. The entire staff were great and the location was extremely easy to find. I will be recommending Frankie to all of my friends.

I'm often in Vancouver for work, so it makes sense for me to have a local stylist. For me, that's Mervin! He is kind, welcoming, and consummately talented. I've been to The Lounge twice since February and have seen him both times. In both instances, I got a stellar haircut. Mervin is precise and knows how to deliver exactly what I've asked for. Would highly recommend!

I have been with the lounge hair studio for a year now doing Keratin treatment, and for sure I will continue. It is really a perfect and trusted place. All staff is professionals and friendly, Mary who makes my keratin is the most professional person in her profession, kind, and sweetie. Recently moved back to Vancouver and was looking for a great hair studio. I found the best one. Iris is absolutely fantastic! She is professional, kind, gentle and very talented. Have seen her twice so far and every time I feel so relaxed while she is working on my hair. I let her be creative and leave looking beautiful.

I have been seeing Courtney at the Lounge for a couple of years now. She always listens to exactly what my ideas are and I trust her completely when she suggests any alternatives. I always leave feeling completely satisfied and excited to show friends/family my new hair. Their loyalty points system is also really good- after a couple of cuts I got a free hair product. I referred my sister to Courtney and she decided to get caramel highlights and a cut, which everyone agreed blended so naturally and the tone was exactly as she requested. Go see my girl Courtney if you're looking for a new stylist in the Vancouver area!

My first visit with Mervin was great! He found a great color match, gave me a good trim and a great blowout/style that held up well for several days! He is easygoing and relaxed which makes it a stress free experience.

After 10 years+ of visiting Lance Blanchette at The Lounge every 4 weeks religiously for a cut, color + styling including the odd blow dry, I am now, on Lance's guidance, in the process of letting my hair grow to its natural grey. Yes! I'm there! You would be AMAZED to see how gracefully he is allowing me to go from blonde to grey and how fabulous my hair looks - no ugly lines between new and old but an amazingly smooth transition of multiple highlights! That is what a true professional hairdresser can do for us. And the bonus is that Lance is not the only one at that studio with that depth of knowledge and expertise. I am NEVER going anywhere else!
