Got to the room. Heat system unresponsive. A glance the bathroom cubbards revealed three or four dirty used bath towels piled up. The toilet flushed once and then took over two hours to flush again. The refrigerator was tiny and located under the bathroom counter down by the floor. My family got there, swam, and then checked out after coming back to our frigid room.

I was attending a conference breakfast. The hotel was clean, organized, and beautiful. The breakfast served at the event was good. My only disappointment was that it was difficult to find a parking spot because a portion of the parking structure was closed.

My husband and I just stayed at Little America this weekend for his birthday. We are Utah natives and have heard great things, but we re super disappointed with our experience. There was no hot water, a bad smell in the room, no hand soap and issues with the toilet flushing (among even more issues). Our experience doesn t live up the hype we have heard and we would not recommend it.

Nice place, but the service was strange. We were there for our anniversary, so the check in lady said she could upgrade us from a standard tower king for free to one of the luxury suites on the top two floors. "I can upgrade you to a luxury room on the top two floors if they are available, and it looks like they're available. Yep, they are available." "Ok that would be awesome." "Those rooms are all old. They are old." "Umm... Ok. Cool." (Does she mean they haven't been updated? Whatever.) "Ok, I've got you a nice corner suite, your room will be 901." Then as we walk away, we realized that the 9th floor is the standard tower rooms, not the luxury rooms she offered. What? Did she say "they're all full"? No, we both definitely heard "old", twice. And why the heck would she offer the nice upgrade if she couldn't actually give it?

Valet service was equally confusing. I called ahead, and they said they offered free EV charging with the valet service. Then the valets just waved us through to the parking area. Then at the valet desk inside, the guy thought they weren't allowed to do EV charging anymore, then one of the valets said they could do it... And finally there was the whole "switching you from $15 parking to $15 valet service". What does that even mean?

The room was nice, but not spectacular or opulent. Some basic amenities offered, but no mouthwash. No breakfast included, which seems stingy, since most places that charge half the price include a decent breakfast.

I'd say on par with the Double Tree around the corner, but more expensive I think.

I like many others in these reviews fell victim to Little America's bait and switch marketing tactics. I booked through Priceline what looked like a wonderful 4 star room in the tower with many of the pictures showing the Grand America hotel across the street. When I showed up I was given the motel style garden 2 star room which was clearly converted from some old motel built in the 60s. Upon entering the room I saw stained carpet a red splatter mark on the wall (Pizza sauce or blood? I don't know). There was also incredibly old looking beat up furniture probably used from the tower rooms. The icing on the cake for my room over $200 was the pieces of dirt on the chair. Literally, just clumps of dirt sitting on a chair. I brought my concerns to Priceline who called the hotel to see what we could work out as I advised this room is false advertising and not worth the money. The hotel offered us to pay an additional $60 to upgrade to a tower room or check out and get our money back. We looked online and the tower suites were being sold for $229 so I'm not sure why we would pay an additional $60 when we could go online and pay $17 more for the same room. We choose to check out of nasty outdated room take our cash and run! I suggest you do the same. On top of all of this even before we reached our room I can't say I enjoyed the service or the attitude of any of the employees. Horrible place!

It's a breakfast place inside a hotel. Good thing about this place is they open early. Too bad they don't serve alcohol till later. I always want to have bloody Mary with my breakie. But it's nice and quiet. My experience there was pretty good.

I've been here the last three years for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner at Thanksgiving I enjoy the prime rib in their coffee shop / Cafe Christmas I typically go to the more formal restaurant. Beware when you go here there is a wait sometimes as long as three hours but it is well worth the wait on Thanksgiving they offered the buffet seating in the formal restaurant and the coffee shop. You should try holiday dinners here it is worth the try

Not sure how to review this hotel. The rooms range from extreme nice to desperately needing a remodel. Depending on who you speak with when reserving your room you may be able to request your room. Should you be lucky enough to have this opportunity I d strongly advise requesting a room in the tower. My recommendation is based on the fact that the other rooms haven t been updated since the hotel opened which based on the restrooms I have to assume was in the mid 50 s.

Very nice property and main building, lots of details in the design. Our room is not connected to the main building, which I've never seen before, it reminds me of an apartment complex. The room is nice but a little dated. Overall good experience.

Comfortable setting, but old.

The accommodations were satisfying, but the staff was by far the best part. Many friendly and kind faces, always willing to help or answer questions.

The Prime Rib was an excellently done dish for our dinner as well.

Plenty of free parking was available. The hotel was very secure and cozy. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The lobby was beautiful but smelled kind of funny. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was set up on a nice terrace, and the temperature of the water in both the pool and the jacuzzi was perfect. The sauna wasn't very hot, however. Overall, it was one of my most enjoyable overnight getaways. Reasonably priced considering all the amenities and services that are available.

It's a nice enough hotel, with clean rooms and friendly staff. However, my room in an outlying building had a weird combination electronic-mechanical key that was incredibly hard to use. It once took me five minutes of struggling to open the door. I can't imagine how anyone with arthritis worse than mine would have managed to do it at all.

STAY IN THE TOWER, NOT IN THE MOTEL SECTION. Spen...

STAY IN THE TOWER, NOT IN THE MOTEL SECTION. Spent a week here with 1,100 coworkers as part of our annual company meeting. I was assigned to the motel section of Little America. My room was disgusting: black mold in the bathroom and closet, pink mold in the bathroom ceiling, water damage on wall paper and bathroom ceiling, broken tile throughout the bathroom floor, dust, wasp nest on patio, carpet stains, wall paper stains, ironing board badly stained, completely clogged room air filter, completely clogged bathroom vent fan, bath tubs that won t drain and will leave you standing in 4 of water, dirt between/under furniture, HVAC that was unresponsive (set it to 60F our room would never cool off in January!), the front door would not automatically close (fire safety concern) When we notified the front desk staff they were short and rude. Room 8177 should not be rented out until it is repaired. We eventually got transferred to room 8209 which was way better, this room only had a completely clogged bathroom vent fan, an HVAC that would not cool the room off, a clogged HVAC filter and dirt/dust/trash between and under the furniture! Of note the walking paths across the parking lots were icy -We notified the staff and nothing changed during our stay.

Now what we liked: the rooms didn t smell! The TVs worked, the rooms were quiet especially for being on busy streets. There was not much noise from other guests. The beds were comfortable, the pillows varied in soft/firmness, the towels were clean large and soft. The valet guys and bellhop were polite and kind.

Coworkers in the tower had an amazing time! None could come up with things they didn t like! Coworkers in other parts of the motel section had similar issues to what we had with one having leaves blown in his HVAC?!! (Amazing because they are closed loop systems) one reported finding a dead cockroach (better than a live one I suppose). One coworker moved rooms three times before he could find one he could live with. In case you missed the opening: DO NOT STAY IN THE MOTEL SECTION!!! STAY IN THE TOWER!!!

Stayed in the Garden instead of the tower and loved it. It's been a family tradition to stay overnight and have dinner at the little coffee shop. During the holidays the blue and green traxs are free so you can go visit temple square and see the lights.

They do everything well here. The food is always great. The silverwear is actually silver and they polish it so it isn't covered in hard water stains. The atmosphere is warm and positive. I love eating here.
