"The Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon" (specifically in the context of staffing or temp work) in Beaverton, OR include issues with unpredictable staffing, poor communication, follow-up and lack of respect for temporary employees and employees.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the common complaints:
Staffing Instability & Communication Problems:
Frequent changes in recruiters lead to difficulty finding contact information and a sense of disorganization. Poor communication and difficulty staying informed about job opportunities. Unorganized and slow follow-up to no follow up from Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon. Two staff members causing property management company clients to go to other property management staff agencies for better customer service and a much lower hourly charge and lower buyout rate.
Negative Treatment of Temp and Employees:
Lack of respect from upper management, with temps and employees being treated as "a number". By charging property management clients more than $12,000 for temp buyout permanent placement rate. Dishonest with temp to hire buyout permanent placement rate charge to clients...
The average buyout charge for a property management staffing agencies in Oregon1 depends on how the employee is placed into a work position2. The staffing agency may allow clients to exercise buyout options after an employee has worked a specific number of hours with the client2. The average staffing agency markup for temporary employees or independent contractors can range between 20% - 50%4. Permanent placement markups are typically 10% - 20% of the employee's gross annual salary4
Limited opportunities for growth or certification as an employee of the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon office.
Temp and employees - Flexible hours and full-time hours are not always accommodated for temps and employees, and Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon office staff can get very upset and not offer assignments to temps and or employees who request to only go to market rate apartment properties without section 8, voucher or housing residents. It is common practice for the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Office to send Minority Temps or Employees Agents to section 8, voucher or housing Apartment Properties by deception. As verified by numerous past Regional Manger clients of The Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Office Send an assignment by text with limited to no real information for Minority Temp or Employee to send a quick response back. Bait and switch: Deception by phone call presenting assignment, pay and location is totally different. Then e-mail that will be sent to Minority Temp who agreed by phone call from the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Office
It's common for the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon office staff members to send assignments to temps or employee's that the Regional Manager Client has not agreed to. Because the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Office Staff want to make a sale and is not listening to the client saying “No” over the phone.
E-mailed assignments with wrong information, missing information, outdated contact information and wrong location are common with Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Office. The Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon staff always promise they will accommodate your employment needs. (This is a lie….) The Liberty Group Office Staff will tell you they don’t have assignments available to work even when property management clients are requesting you to come back to help at their apartment property. The Liberty Group office staff will lie to the agent and client. Because they have another assignment to fill that none of the other agents want to work at. So, they want you to fill that assignment so they can charge that client a higher price. If you say no to the assignment they are having a hard time filling, you will not get other assignments for weeks.
Compensation and Work Conditions:
Low pay $19.00 to $22.00 and inconsistent work availability can be a temp to hire leasing agent, property manager, assistant manager, maintenance tech, maintenance supervisor or work as an employee leasing agent, property manager, assistant manager, maintenance tech, maintenance supervisor going to different apartment property full or part time with benefits (If you get full time hours) for Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon.
Below-average salary overall.
Liberty Group office staff will pay the temp leasing agent $19.00 to $22.00 hour while charging client $42.00 to $72.00 plus an hour or more. There are times when the property management client will not request the temporary leasing agent because Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon staff are asking for more money from the property management Client after 90 days. This is where Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Staff will tell you there was a problem with something you did at that property. When the problem was the higher price from Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon
If Liberty Group office staff, ask you over the phone to help train another temp leasing agent at a client’s apartment property for one day. They will tell you over the phone they will pay you $25.00 an hour for that day. Bait and Switch: Then change your training pay by e-mail to $25.00 for a one-day training course for another temp leasing agent on the job.
Other Concerns:
The impression that the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon Office is more focused on meeting targets than employee well-being. Some reviewers found Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon office management to be focused on money rather than employees. There are 3 people working in a Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon. It is not enough to manage temps, full-time employees and property management clients

The Branch Manager is the only one at the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon that will go out to property management companies (Not in November or December temp leasing agent assignments are very low) to bring in new business. Branch Manager refuses to hire sales team to create more assignments for all temp leasing agents, temp property manager, temp maintenance tech’s etc. This creates a problem with the temp and employees being able to afford to pay for benefits from Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon office and cover bills. If you work at a Property Management Staffing Agency and you go on an assignment. When you have time look at the invoice file, e-mail invoices (Company or Managers E-mail) and the invoices mailed to the leasing offices you work at. You will see invoices with the rate for The Liberty Group rate charges. Also leave your phone with the property manager everywhere you work, have them contact you first then Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon if they need your help. So, you know if the Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon is being upfront with you. Otherwise, Do Not Work for Liberty Group Beaverton Oregon they have lost a lot business with only 3 people working in their office.

The Liberty Group movers provided the best moving experience I could have imagined... Way beyond my expectations from the initial estimation process through placing the last piece of furniture in our new home in Pa. We had them move furniture only, doing our other belongings ourselves prior to their involvement.

The estimation process was thorough, helpful, and accurate (we actually received a credit back because our weight was less than the computer generated estimate). There was good follow-up prior to our move date. The moving crew was exceptional. They showed up at the promised time, carefully packing and wrapping everything, and no time was wasted during the day. They were very respectful, explained the process, and were meticulously neat and clean in how they treated both the old house and our new home. Everything went great and I honestly can't think of anything negative about the entire experience.

I would recommend this outfit to anyone I know. They took a potentially stressful day and turned it into a positive, satisfying experience.

Thank You Liberty Transportation Team (and I do mean TEAM !)

I was very pleased with my experience with Liberty.
Justin was a great help with much good advice when he was at the house writing up the estimate for the move. Mine is a slightly complicated situation because it is a 2 stage move.
I was also pleased with the workers who did the moving. They were very courteous and seemed very competent. I was particularly impressed with how they handled an extremely large piece of furniture.

A team of four very respectful men came to my mother's home and made the move happen. I was impressed with the care they took to check each item, point out anything in advance we should be aware of, wrap everything securely, and pack it onto the truck. At the other end, they were careful to cover the new carpets, very patient with our directions of where to put things, and very pleasant and professional over all. Many thanks, Liberty Group.

If you are moving to Florida, DO NOT USE this trucker. The team in NJ were fine, but the delivery crew were horrible. They were 3 hours late and in a rush, they broke things, and were are missing cartons. We paid for a national van line (United/Mayflower) but they used a UHaul truck to make two small deliveries. Was anyone watching our stuff? I don t think so.

These guys did a MARVELOUS job! I was moving from New Brunswick, NJ to Plainsboro, NJ and Juan and his team were so great and so professional! I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work because I was so stressed out about this move. Nothing was broken, and they also showed up early AND did not charge us for the extra hour. I will definitely use this company if I move again. I found them through Mayflower Movers and being that they're a big company, they only work with professionals so you know that Liberty has to be great. Barbara was also extremely helpful as well. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. They made my move so much easier and stress free.

All the guys were super awesome and very polite! They were early to arrive and worked the whole time they were here. Cannot say enough about how professional and efficient they were! True price to estimate as they came out and saw what was to be moved!

When you decide to get an estimate from this company in my case from Ed Scott, they will tell you that there is no charge from there warehouse to your home and vise versa, that you are only charged for the hours when they get to your home to the time they leave, NOT TRUE! THE DRIVE TIME THAT THEY PUT ON YOUR ESTIMATE IS ACTUALLY THE DRIVE FROM THE WAREHOUSE TO YOUR HOME AND VISE VERSA. After you question this, Ed Scott gets all nasty and does not even let you say a word. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. BUYER BE WARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The move was very hectic. The movers asked us few questions and ended up moving garbage and stuff that was meant to stay in the old house. The insurance they sold me was a joke, only meant to kick in if the truck was demolished. The movers didn't wrap my furniture properly, it came to my new home scratched and the insurance didn't cover it. They weren't careful enough for me, I wouldn't recommend them.

We were very satisfied withe their locked-in quote. Our movers, Justin & Kam were efficient and very respectful of our items. I would have given the company a 5 if we could have received our items a few days earlier, but it was delivered within the time frame given.

Everything about the services received was beyond expectations. The movers were friendly and followed my instructions to the letter. They took the time to do the job perfectly. Very pleased.

I am writing to let you know of my experience with Lisa Hagerty which, I may add, has been wonderful!
A recommendation from a friend and relocation director at a large real estate company in Somerset County brought me to The Liberty Group and, after my brief interactions with employees at the company, I have thanked my friend profusely for the recommendation! I have spoken with Lisa several times and from the first minute of the first conversation, I could tell she was friendly and personable. After subsequent conversations, it became evident that she was also knowledgeable, professional and a sheer pleasure to work with! Although the real estate market is red-hot, and I know everyone involved in real estate is extremely busy, Lisa is on top of things and, as busy as she gets, remains friendly and professional.
If you can find a way to clone Lisa, it would behoove you to do so. ;) Her customer service skills are excellent, as well, and she made me, as a customer, feel like the only customer she has. Not an easy task during the summer months for someone working at a moving company! :) I have another, larger move in the next couple of months and I will not hesitate to use The Liberty Group and I will make sure to spread the word And as you can tell, I am not shy. ;)
Beth, please be so kind as to put this email in Lisa s personnel file and recognize her for her outstanding representation of The Liberty Group.

I utilized The Liberty Group for my move from New Jersey to Georgia. The representative, Kenny Savoy, was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He was able to clearly explain the breakdown of the cost and how the process worked for my move. The movers that retrieved my items were professional and courteous and wrapped and protected my furniture upon pick up. All items are insured at a 100%! The delivery of my items took less than a week! I would recommend using this company for your next move.

I was moving from Long Island to NJ and LIberty Transportation and Storage was the company my employer contracted for the move. I was nervous about the move after reading these reviews, but my experience was nothing short of Stellar. Dave and his team showed up on time and were incredibly fast, careful, efficient and friendly. They treated my stuff as if it were their own. I could not have asked for more thoughtful and careful movers. All of my things arrived, with not a single thing damaged, inclusive of fragile china. Everything went like clockwork. Our things were unpacked and Dave insisted that I inspect everything and make sure that everything was in the room I wanted it to be in. What an amazing experience. This team was the best indeed.

We were very pleased with the services provided by Liberty. From the start, Ed Scott met with us and explained in full detail what we should expect and what the process was.

The move itself was conducted timely, efficiently, friendly and professionally. Pricing was reasonable and there were no after the fact surprises.

We asked about their building department and eventually hired them to perform various projects at our existing and new homes. Again, they provided professional and friendly service; and, went the extra mile in responsiveness.
