Greaves represented my father for a DWI case and my father served a short amount of time in jail thanks to him and when he was released he was able to get his drivers license back with no problem. He may be hard to get a hold of at times but you just have to be patient.

Our daughter was charged with Driving While Intoxicated a little over a year and a half ago. We called a family friend who's son had been arrested a few years earlier and asked who he used for an attorney. Without missing a beat he said "Craig Greaves is the man you want". I called Mr. Greaves's office and spoke with his legal assistant to schedule a consultation. When my daughter and wife arrived to speak with Mr. Greaves about her DWI, he was able to phone conference me during the meeting while I was out of town on business. He was very patient and caring with our family. He took the time to answer each of our questions thoroughly and without all of the lawyer lingo other lawyers try and throw at you to show how impressive they are. He spent over an hour answering our questions and explaining the legal process. After speaking with Mr. Greaves we were sure we had found the right man to represent our daughter. During the legal proceedings Mr. Greaves would take the time to speak with us after each hearing to explain what the next step would be. After what felt like forever, the day came to go to trial or take a deal. Mr. Greaves was able to work out a deal that would have the least impact on our daughters life so she decided to take the plea deal and avoid going to trial. Since then, I have recommended Mr. Greaves twice to other parents who's children messed up
First, he is completely impossible to get in touch with. The only people you will ever be able to speak with are the legal assistants at his office. They are generally uninformed, and will give you the run around. My trial date kept getting pushed back and back with no attempt at a settlement without going to trial. Finally, at 8 PM the night before my 6th scheduled hearing, he called me with an offer. I was given a whopping 12 hours to decide between options that I didn't understand. On top of this, Mr. Greaves personally lied to me on multiple accounts while representing me. The option he tried to steer me towards turned out to be nothing like how it was presented to me. He told me it would be 6 months in a minimum security facility, and that they would have me there within a week. What he failed to tell me was that my 6 months didn't start until I got there, and it ended up taking almost 4 months to get there. He also flat out lied to me by telling me that state jail(my other option) didn't offer good time, and they actually happen to offer 20% good time. So if I had taken that option, I would have been out in under 5 months, but thanks to his gross negligence I ended up doing closer to 10 months in a treatment facility that I didn't need. Once I was locked up, he stopped returning my family's phone calls, and made no effort to expedite me through the system. I strongly advise against getting this lawyer to represent you unless you want to get your own taste of malpractice and negligence.

He got me 5 years in prison for a crime i didnt even commit. He said just sign you will be out in a few months. I was scared i didnt know what to do i was looking at 17 years so i take plea like he said. Well 4 years 11 months and 12 days later i was released. He didnt even want to fight for me and prove i was innocent. Big waste of $3,600. I WANTED TO FIGHT! I WAS INNOCENT! HE DIDNT WANT TO FIGHT! ISN'T THAT HIS JOB!!!!!! BAD LAWYER!!!!

I think it is important that every side of a case gets a chance to be heard. In light of recent events at my University, Mr.Greves gave a voice to someone who was not heard. I m not implicating complete innocence on any party, because we will never be in that room, but learning all sides to a story helps us make our own opinions! Which I repeat, is extremely important.
I'd like to start off by saying I do not give 5-star reviews unless I have received truly exceptional service, which doesn't happen often. My son got into some trouble while at A&M and I knew Craig Greaves was just the lawyer to help us out. I had heard from many well respected professionals in my area that Mr. Greaves was the guy to go to in College Station, and they were right! I worried that my son would have serious charges along with his DWI and they were dropped. When I tell my family and friends what we endured and the excellent defense Craig Greaves provided with a sense of urgency they were shocked. I have friends in similar situations that didn't have a successful outcome and with that being said I am absolutely grateful to have had Mr. Greaves on our case. We couldn't have afforded to go to trial and his defense protected my son from having to. Craig has represented me several times in two counties, both misdemeanor and felony cases, and he has done an excellent job in both courts. He is a busy man, so sometimes it would take him until evening to return my call, but he always did. The one time it was urgent i spoke to him immediately, i called his office and she called him an he called me within minutes. He promptly handled the issue and txt'd me it was resolved.
