Food was okay, it was pretty expensive dining for two. Food came quick but you're getting exactly what you see, an old style diner with diner style food. Wasn't too impressed to be honest.

Love this place. It's open 24/7, they've got a huge menu of 'hipster or hangover' food, and a sweet portfolio of desserts.
I love their sweet potato fries, their somewhat quirky burgers, and I find the (two cups per order!) milkshakes hard to turn down.
Good food usually, lights are a little sad in the day
Been going here for 10 years. Used to advocate for the place. Even contemplated working there at one point. Have sent 4 letters to management in the past 3 years about how much of a nose dive the place has taken and the easy fixes available - - remember that I used to love this place! Anyway. They
managed to get 2 sandwiches wrong
3 times for each sandwich. It took
3 tries and 45 minutes with no
other of 3 tables ordering food to put rye bread, cheese, meat, mustard, and fries on a plate.
I got arguments from the bartender
about sending back ice cold bacon
after sending back the waiter with half ice cold/half melted cheese
on a blt. And then we got cold
fries. And they still charged us
for the meal!
I gonna put this simply: whoever
is running this place does not
value the business enough to
staff it properly, train people,
or hang on to anyone decent.
Spend your money elsewhere.
They've also, not even once replied to the pretty helpful, then annoyed, then downright angry emails. They really don't care. So if you're good with hating your life, then go here.
I have been to The Lakeview Restaurant many times. It is always open, always popular and busy after midnight on the weekends. My favorite drink here is Caesar and strawberry milkshake. Last night I ordered Disco Chicken Poutine, very yummy and it's only 12.5 dollars. Good place to go with friends and also when you are looking for bites, by the way Caesar is only 5 dollars.
1st time I went my burger was amazing. The last time I came my poutine was cold.
Been coming here for years! ca never go wrong with an eggs benny or late night eats!
Decent. The wait for breakfast probably wasn't worth it but I was satisfied. Would consider returning at a less busy time
One of my favourite places to eat a fry up and pancakes when visiting Toronto. Feels like a home away from home each time.
Great food. Service was rushed. Asked 3 times if we were done our plate when we had hardly just started, and twice more when we didn't even start the sides. A little odd concerning the establishment was fairly empty when we walked in (Friday night, 9pm-ish). Had the portobello mushroom sandwich to share as I was with a vegetarian, but it tasted so good that I wasn't even mad. Deep fried and all that. Good fries. And we got the Apple pie shake which was a bit thick for taste but fairly tasty. I typically like my milkshakes to not be THAT sweet however. Good prices too and charming diner style.
