Chef should be fired . I only taste one spice SALT! Old overcooked dry chicken, and rest of the food. Very disappointed. Manager was good and did not charge me for food of 3 which we could not eat

Although I'm (slightly) obsessed with Paula Dean, and we've been to this restaurant before; their new "family style only" dining is not for us. We would prefer to have our own meals/plates. We will not return until they bring back their regular menu. I will say the food was delicious and staff was friendly and fast on their feet!

We came on a late Sunday afternoon as a family of 4. Of our meal choices: meatloaf, fried catfish, roasted chicken, creamed corn, Lima beans, baked macaroni, and creamed potatoes our family enjoyed the creamed corn and meatloaf as well as the biscuits served with the meal the most. Service was friendly and efficient. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the restrooms and restaurant, although they had the Southern charm, weren t as clean as they could have been. They certainly weren t filthy but needed a bit more upkeep. I wouldn t mind bringing family and friends when we show them around the area.

Worth the trip. Something to look forward to in Savannah. If you like butter, sugar, and anything Southern. This is the place to go.

All the people working in the restaurant including the employees at the store were very kind. Exactly the thing you imagine with southern hospitality.

What more do I need to say?

I thought it was great. We waited 1 hour but they put us on a list and had an app to track where we were so it was fine. We simply went to a bar for some drinks.

Service was good and prompt.

We had fried chicken, dumplings, pot roast, Mac and cheese, collard greens, creamed corn, green beans.

The fried chicken was fresh and excellent. Everything else was pretty darn good. I did not like the pot roast and thought it was dry but my wife liked it. It think the dumplings needed to cook some more but maybe they were supposed to be doughy.

Overall I thought it was great and for the price met my expectations. I'm not sure anything I had would reach "famous restaurant" status, but it was simply great food at a reasonable price with friendly service. What's not to like?

We recently went to Lady and Sons while on vacation in Savanah GA. The food was good but limited based on the "family style" dining plan. One item we ordered was the fried chicken. They brought us a wing, thigh and leg but no breast which I found odd. When I asked for a breast I got an attitude and once it was brought ( 10 minutes later) the waiter dropped it on the table without addressing us at all and walked away. The pot roast was tasty as were the sides. For the expense of this place I would expect better service. Southern hospitality was not experienced at all.

Nice restaurant with good tasting food. All you can eat from the items you pick, so you will get out super full . Nice decoration and large space, with multiple floors.

Best service, best food best experience! Everything is perfect about this place from the rustic charm decor to the amazing staff who treat you like family to the food!!! I was absolutely stuffed when we left and every item we tried was amazing!!! Those biscuits are to die for!

No chicken in the dumplings, the tomato cucumber salad had way TOO MUCH vinegar to the point of choking us, the catfish, mashed potatoes and creamed corn were good. So so on the collard greens. We're southerners and know good food and way better restaurants. This one was middle of the road at best.

Paula Dean you can do better! Sides were all over cooked. Beef not tasty! Fried chicken and banana pudding were the only two items I ate. The green beans and sweet potatoes were from a can and over cooked, the salad with poppy seed dressing had no poly seeds, and the beef roast with rice was salty and over cooked. Lima beans had no flavor and who puts macaroni in with Lima bean? The waitress was abrupt and not interested in talking to,use about Paula Dean! Over all will never go back when in Savanna for,those going do the gift shop not the restaurant.
Bathroom needs a remodel.
