Alex was awesome he was our tour guide. Got to see inside the dolby theatre and got to see where the academy awards are hosted. Inside view and behind the scenes. A great experience for me and got to go where some great actors and actresses have won their awards. Love this place and got to sit on the front row. Awesome!

We were thrilled when our local guide told on the tour of Dolby theater that this is the venue of the Oscars every year and red carpet is laid here for the celebrities. We didn't actually see the theater from inside but saw the whole building. There are shops and restaurants in the building. From the second floor bridge of the building you can see the famous sign of Hollywood on the hills. Also we saw the names of the movies which has won the Oscars and their year, written on the panels of pillars of the entrance lobby. And felt proud to find the name of movie "Gandhi" in which our father of nation Mahatma Gandhi's life is portrayed.
An amazing theatre with beautiful decor and acoustics. The stage isn't as big as the Rose Bowl in Hollywood so try to get an orchestra section seating.
Experienced the Assassins Creed Symphony here and was delighted by the live orchestra matching the video reels on the background screen. There were also a few camera shots zooming in on the musicians which made the experience feel more inclusive. The conductor had a great personality which helped set the fun mood for the evening.
A wonderful experience to let your imagination run wild! We booked on the day of, and had like a half an hour wait, so wandered around the shops, soaked up the sun and enjoyed seeing the Hollywood sign from Hollywood and Highland!
As you approach the theatre, there s a little red carpet, which I thought was really cool! It was only us, and another couple, so it was a nice, intimate experience, with a very knowledgeable young man, who took us around.
You walk through the lobby, which has a Busby Berkeley-inspired stairwell. Then are taken into the VIP bar area - you even see an Oscar on display in there! Heading on into the theatre itself is so awesome! It s amazing how much smaller it feels in real life - oh the magic of television.
We got to go on stage, then backstage, and along a corridor that displayed pictures of past Academy Award Winners, then headed into a box to get a different view of the auditorium.
I absolutely loved our visit and would thoroughly recommend it!
Beautiful theater! We did a tour and was amazed at the craftmanship and detail that was put into this venue that we learned was specifically built to host the Oscars. Really happy we had the opportunity to visit and take a glimpse inside.
Dolby theater AKA Kodak theater is the center for mayor events in the L.A. & Hollywood areas. This Theater has hold events like, Concerts, academy awards-OSCARS, American Idol between others. Also, It has been used as Opera House. The tour was very well explained to all attendees. The stage has multiple layers of functionality appropriate for the perfect play or performance. The level of organization in the development or functionality are very complex and only qualified personnel is required for the proper functionality, such as Sound Ingeniers, lighting and special effects Ingeniers. I want to thanks the employees of this great organization for taking the time to explain all of the processes, Sincerely, TONY MORA.
Great venue. Anywhere you sit is excellent. Mezzanine seats are pretty awesome as well as the sound. If you choose to park. You may want to valet. Also, there isn't validation for concerts so yeah $18 Dollars goodbye.
Always fun and exciting night in Dolby Theatre . The energy and ambiance is very different. Just wished that maybe they would clean their floor since I can smell stuff quite easily lo y.the events of the past have lingering smells through out the whole venue.
