The teachers are kind and always willing to help, the only suggestion I have is that the campus really needs an upgrade, which they are working on, but I wish I had the benefit of brand new classrooms as a sixth-grader last year. The admissions director, Mrs. Duncan, represents TKA very well. I am very grateful that I got accepted because unlike most students, I struggle in math.

We have kids in both middle school and high school. The King's Academy is a Christian school that strongly promotes academic excellence, enrichment through visual and performing arts and exceptional athletic achievement. The school has brought together a superb team of expert educators, skilled instructors and extraordinary coaches and leadership dedicated to the growth of Christ-centered students. We encourage interested parents and students to schedule a visit and apply as early as possible because of the high demand for admission.
The school's policy for conduct reports and demerits are just a FAT L and the food is another fat L and to add on the bathrooms and locker room havent been changed since 1991
Great school if you're looking for a Christian environment just know that that also comes with very judgmental students. From my experience, long tenured staff were phenomenal christian role models, but the new staff that were getting hired were just mediocre teachers. After you get passed the religion, it's a mediocre school that's in a HUUGEE bubble which makes adjusting to a secular world hard for a lotta graduates.
This is the best school I have ever been to. It's full of good people which includes both the students and the teachers. I can't believe that someone would make an email with a name very similar to mine just to attack the school. I love the school I go to and the people that go there are great. If you are looking for a school for your child, this is definitely the school you would want them in.
The most amazing school ever!!! Our son has loved his experience here. We as a family are beyond blessed to have such an amazing school, teachers, staff for our kids. Our daughter cannot wait to be here as well Grateful
Amazing. Caring. Community. Fun. Encouraging. Personal. Impactful. These are the words that come to mind when I think of The Kings Academy. My 3 daughters currently attend this school and this is their second year at TKA. I have seriously been blown away by this school. We live in one of the best school districts in the Bay Area but this school is overwhelming more impressive by leaps and bounds. The staff and teachers care about my children in and outside of the classroom. Many of them show up for their athletic games, performances and even personal events outside of school. They really care about who they are becoming as a person, not just as a student. The families are super involved and really want the best for their kids in terms of community and culture. I truly appreciate that my daughters are forming their own relationship with Christ and what that means to them in their lives. They've learned to stand up for others in their school, expect more from themselves in terms of personal character and encouraging others to live their best lives. They have some of the best mission service trips around the world that I've ever seen and the students really learn a lot about service, gratitude and how they can make an impact on others. The academics is challenging but it's not cut throat like other schools. There's no pressure to be ALL AP all the time. They encourage following your passion and pushing yourself in those areas but not because you have to. The school is a perfect size, not too big, not too small. They offer all the sport teams, visual performing arts and have an amazing marching band and robotics team. I am amazed that they can do all this on what I consider a very reasonable tuition by Bay Area standards. I CANNOT recommend this school enough! One of my comments to others when I talk about TKA is "I feel like we've won the lottery to be able to attend this school". It's THAT good!
very disappointed and teachers do not fulfill the expectation from a school that charges 2000 a month to go to. honestly a scam and not worth going to.
Great school! It is expensive, but totally worth it. Great teachers, sports, and theater! There is a great community, and teachers love to hang out with their students. Class trips are also super fun, and you get to connect with your grade in fun ways! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!
A place with dedicated, caring teachers and administrators. It is a place where your child feels safe to try new things and thrive. I have been most impressed with the student body, whom I spent a week building houses in Mexico with. No complaining, hard working, and trying to help despite having to learn new skills. The environment is very positive. Both my kids developed into excellent writers in part thanks to AP language and composition and AP World History. I appreciate that the code of conduct is enforced. Yes, kids who violate it do get expelled... which means fewer bad influences and fewer bullies. I can only speak about my own experience. I hope it is as good for everyone else. I am very satisfied with this school.
The school is ok, but I just don't get why there are vending machines. I swear the school could just put those snacks in the student store and the school won't need those vending machines. I guess its for after school, but still.
Very Good School That encourages Academic excellence, building relationships and support from outside your grade and staff. Never would have thought I could have gone back into this type of setting but Kings Is proving me wrong
We are new to the school which may dilute the value of this review. All in all, our first impressions which won us over are that we love the school. Kids are kids to be sure. But thus far, the teachers are great. The administration is super. I thought the emphasis on Jesus would be superficial and the real focus would be on good grades and getting to a top notch university ... think nearby Stanford or Berkeley. However, the emphasis is on Jesus ... being/living as a Christian AND getting good grades ... in that order. We look forward to spending the next 7 years and NOT buying a Tesla or two or three instead. 8-)
