Great that the pubs are back open. Was a good feed and a nice cold Stone & Wood.

Having stayed in Newcastle for a couple of nights, Junction Hotel has been a really nice surprise for me. It's a really decent, well decorated hotel within this small city. It's quite clean and met my expectations. The room was well equipped and the shower was super cool.

They also have a great bar & restaurant downstairs which featured a local artist in the evening.

Didn't get a chance to stay here but the manager, Anthony, was so helpful when responding to a cancellation that was incorrectly handled by a booking company.
Anthony assured me that he would follow up the refund and effectively communicated with me throughout the whole process.
He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I look forward to visiting in the future!

Not good for families only good for young couples. Food expensive and poor.

We stayed at this hotel on our road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane, and it was the best hotel we had in 2 weeks.

Very nice meals and much quieter now with restricted number which was great.

Across the board there isn't much to complain about. The staff are friendly and the place is modern and clean. However it's pretty outrageous to charge $25 for 2 pints of beer. It's cheaper to drink in the centre of Melbourne or Sydney than it is here....

Trying to hard to be a trendy gastro pub. While the decor is clean its far from practical. Horrible stools and tiny tables. So dark you can't see what you are eating. The styling is rather cold. The food is average at best. Not a great place for groups. Way too pricey for what it is and what you get. Service was ok. Maybe its just not for me.

The staff are super friendly and the cocktails are top notch. Location is great too. Would definately recommend this spot!

We stayed in one of the rooms over night and can not fault this place. Immaculately presented room and hotel overall, brilliant service, comfortable bed, luxurious shower and only had time for dessert but it was delicious. Will definitely make this place our only accommodation from now on when we travel to Newcastle.

Service is great and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We arrived late but they made no hesitation to help us with our luggage and get us settled in. Rooms are beautiful, clean and very modern (I would like to have the same shower at home). I really recommend it and should I get another chance, I'll definitely stay here again

Pretty delicious food! Love the ambience! 4 entrees for tasting was just perfect! We ll be back. Our kids ordered 2 kids meals and all came with a paddle pop! Winner!

Older staff were lovely and down to earth, younger staff not so much .

Very nice surprise with this very modern hotel in the middle of streets without much interest, but the place is warm with a bar and a restaurant which attracts a lot of locals (a good sign!).

The rooms are very comfortable with very good bedding and a transparent glass bathroom.

In the minibar: two bottles of water and two chocolates. A little cheap because the hotel is not cheap!

Free parking and good wifi.

The closest restaurant ever to me is one of the best in The Junction!

I went to The Junction Hotel for Father's Day Dinner, but I think it can be for dinner every single day! They have a hotel, a pub and a restaurant in the same resident! (3 in 1!)

The staff were nice and gave me a Paddle Pop for free, but the foods on the menu were to die for!

I had a Cheeseburger and Chips with tomato sauce and it was absolutely delicious! The crunch on the chips, the beef on the burger, everything was beautiful!

This is a hidden gem in The Junction. Great food, great service (and my favourite) great gin, properly served and paired with appropriate tonics.

Wonderful lunch again today at The Junction Hotel. Anthony and Sophia are wonderful at making sure all guests are well looked after. It was great to see the Prawn linguine back on the menu. The Prawn linguine was superb, ultra fresh pasta with a delicately balanced sauce topped with perfectly cooked prawns, a winner! The salmon served with a great combination of vegetables also delicious. No wonder The Junction is our go to restaurant in Newcastle. Highly recommended !

Good accommodation and close to the beach. it's a nice place to have a beer and a meal. It was just a pitty it wasn't open on New Years eve and New years day along with most of Newcastle, come when there are no public holidays and you should be right.

Went for a few drinks after dinner and really enjoyed it. Relaxed atmosphere, good live music and a great selection of drinks.

As always very good my favorite is salt and pepper squid and oldie but a goodie staff are courteous ,have recently up graded the hotel and looks great
