Absolutely stunning! I wish we had more time. So much history, beauty to be taken in!
Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Loved the brunch. But . . . How do you ruin a $10,000, marble shower? Add a $45.00 showerhead!!
This was the perfect place for the end of our honeymoon roadtrip. The rooms are beautiful and so is this amazing hotel. The staff is kind and courteous and the food is fantastic our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer than a night.
Exquisite experience at The Jefferson Hotel. Friendly staff, good amenities and well cared for facilities/rooms.
Unfortunately we were there on a short travel and didnt get to enjoy the heated pool or see more sights in the area with their complimentary transportation. Hopefully we have the opportunity to return.
It is beautiful I recomend it to every one.Very tasteful not pumped and the Nativety Set really pleased me.I had a picture of it and the gorgeous tree but can't get it in the text.
Can't say enough. Great constancy in a consumer first approach.
Very nice renovation however it took 1 hour to check in because the computers were down....
So much history. Just a beautiful hotel. Definitely 5 Star!!
Beautiful architecture! They don't build 'em like this anymore!
Exquisite historic hotel. Lunch at TJ's was delicious. Enjoyed perusing the art, architecture, details of this beautiful, special place.
Attended the Sunday Brunch. Lots of food, lots of options. Would recommend for a special occasion. The Jefferson Hotel is a beautiful place to visit.
Traveled to Virginia for a NASCAR race and decided to stay here with my wife and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and this place was absolutely beautiful.
We visited The Jefferson for a holiday party. WOW! It was the most beautifully decorated place for the holidays in Richmond! The food and service at the party were amazing. They had done some renovating since our last visit. What a difference! Our room was twice as big. It was VERY spacious and tastefully decorated. While there we also visited Lemaire, one of the restaurants /bars. The atmosphere was very inviting, the drinks were good and, again the service was wonderful. I can't recommend this wonderful hotel more for a special event or getaway!
Outstandingly beautiful! Excellent accommodations! Efficient and delightfully pleasant service!
I visited the restaurant for dinner and drinksand had a wonderful experience. The appetizers and entrees were beautifully presented, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly.
Just went to let our kids see the christmas decorations. As usual the hotel was very clean and beautiful. It was also very crowded in the public areas with multiple organized events going on.
Very old, very exquisite, very ornate and very special place in Richmond, VA. Le Maire, an excellent restaurant with a renowned reputation awaits your gustatory delight. At Christmas time, a huge gingerbread house is created by the chefs. This year's is three igloos, one very large and two smaller, done with a high degree of artistry. High tea is featured at the Jefferson as well, making the experience a very high value embedded in the history of the capital city. Highly recommended!!!
Very nice hotel with newly renovated rooms. Our view was directly into a roof wall, but if you focus on the inside of the hotel, it is a good experience.
We had high tea for a birthday. Gorgeous spread and perfect service.
Good was great at the bar. Service was okay. Waitress did spill a drink on one of our party. But overall nice.
Truly the nicest and classiest hotels I have been to. Special place!
The Jefferson is beautiful, there is little more to be said. The service was awesome, the food was very good, and the drinks were well maid.
Always a treat visiting the Jefferson. The hotel is immaculate and beautiful. And the dining is top notch!
Very accommodating. The room was exquisite and we enjoyed ourselves incredibly.
Booked our stay with Amex platinum and got the early check-in benefit. When we called the night before, the front desk said that they got an empty room ready for us to check-in to as soon as 8am. We showed up at 9am, but the new front desk lady backtracked on what was promised to us. In fact, at 12pm, the promised room was still not ready. We had a very young child who needed to take a morning nap, so this messed up our entire day-schedule. However, one of the managers managed to find a suite that was available and upgraded us to the suite instead. It definitely made a big difference and changed the tone of our entire stay. The suite was great and spacious, even though there were a lot of broken facets to the suite (many door knobs were broken, there were no trash cans in the bathroom, there was a spider in the room, the TV chromecast feature was broken, and there were no tissue boxes anywhere). Also, we ordered the shoe-shine service, but after two-attempts (the second one was a "redo service"), the shoe was still dirty and not shined at all. The turn-down service was great, the morning breakfast room service was good, and overall it was a FAIR-GOOD stay. Three-stars for the effort.
Favorite place to stay in Richmond VA. Stay here if you can. You won't regret.
Atmosphere is amazing. The food is delicious and all the mimosas you want.
Classy, historic Southern tea service with a Jeffersonian flair. Great service!
Love The Jefferson. Great old hotel. Attended Hope Gala fundraiser dinner. Everything was perfect!
Hotel is really beautiful. Enjoyed a nice Gold Star luncheon. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very excellent. The bathrooms were clean and beautiful that I had to take puctures. Our group had a wonderful time.
Beautiful location, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The facilities, food, service and staff are all top notch.
The Jefferson Hotel is clearly The Iconic hotel in Richmond Virginia. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there 30 years ago and somehow they ve managed to maintain their same level of customer service, elegance and relevance in the rapids growing Richmond hotel market. We attended an event in the Empire room last night. As expected, the food, drink and customer service was 5 Star. If you haven t already been here to see their Christmas decorations or for their Sunday brunch, they are both Richmond musts! Continue to recommend the Jefferson Hotel without reservation!
The Jefferson is exquisite. The decor is gorgeous, the renovated rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The linens are luxurious and I loved the Molton Brown products. Room service was prompt and had a nice selection. The shuttle they provide was wonderful for exploring Richmond. I also got a fabulous shampoo/deep conditioner and blow out at the salon. All in, our stay at the Jefferson was delightful for the adults in our party and for the children. I can't wait to return.
Sunday Champagne Brunch at The Jefferson was wonderful. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. There was a wide variety of food available to suit every taste. I look forward to going back.
The most friendly and helpful people! Amazing quality!
I enjoyed a surprisingly wonderful happy hour with co-workers. It was a great deal and wonderful food.
Sunday brunch is fantastic! Great food and atmosphere.
Very nice Christmas decorations and friendly and helpful staff!!!
Amazing hotel, with incredible staff running the dining there.
Great place to eat, night stays, and have job fairs
Had a wonderful champagne brunch on the mezzanine and found the service to be fantastic.
The Jefferson has great food and even better service for their Sunday brunch.
Absolutely stunning. Gorgeous place with a lot of historical value. The architecture is gorgeous. Several presidents have stayed in this hotel over the years, mainly founding fathers. The designs are ornate, and the ceilings are beautiful stain glass designs. In the rooms, the bathroom is almost as big as the bed room. There is television inside the bathroom mirror, and both a bath and shower in the room.
Birthday dinner for my wife with good friends. Service, food and ambiance were as expected. A great dining experience.
It was great. We went to Richmond for the main purpose of having tea at the Jefferson. The tea itself was fine, nothing amazing. But the building was wonderful. Be sure to check out the staircase.
It was excellent. The food was delicious. The service was really good.
Lemaire Restaurant was phenomenal. Could not have picked a better location for my engagement dinner. Phenomenally good service. They went above and beyond anything I've ever experienced from a restaurant before. Moreover, the food was worth every penny. It was delicious, well portioned, and completely unique. All that, paired with a great atmosphere, made for one of the best nights of my life. I can do nothing but sing praises for this restaurant. We will undoubtedly be returning.
My boyfriend and I attended a wedding at the Jefferson Hotel this past October and it was absolutely gorgeous. We watched the newly wedded couple descend the grand staircase to greet their guests it was magical. If you re looking for a fairytale wedding venue, this is the place! The service was amazing and the drinks and appetizers were delicious. The whole place was SPOTLESS and elegant and regal. Also, the post dinner coffee was AMAZING. They served it after dinner but before the dancing began and it was something else. Probably the best coffee I ve ver had. Everyone at the table was talking about it, too. I can not talk enough about how amazing every aspect of this place was. The staff was amazing and nice and accommodating, the rooms were lovely and well decorated and ELEGANT (not tacky!), and the atmosphere was, like, if left like a royal but also like I was living in a James Bond film. Haha! It was just classy all around. Highly recommend!
