Great service and accommodations. Lots of amenities and the location is pretty good.
Happy hour here is the best kept secret in Richmond
Our family enjoyed a beautiful Father's Day Brunch there!! The hotel was breathtaking and the staff were very friendly!
Saw the Jefferson on a limousine tour. The place was amazingly gorgeous. Will come during the Christmas season.
What a fabulous hotel! Really beautiful at Christmas time!
Place is very cute and the workers are incredibly nice.
Truly a comfortable spot. Stayed in accomodations worth reviewing. Super excellent time.
The staff was fantastic, the room was excellent, the cleanliness was top notch, and the food was great. My wife and I very much enjoyed our overnight stay with brunch, and will be back soon
We always enjoy our stay at the Jefferson. Aside from the beautiful architecture, historic status (including their own museum), and convenient location, we always feel welcomed. The professional and well trained staff (many have been here for more than 17 years) treat guests with care, the food is fantastic, the consigour, the courtesy car service (George), the mirror TV and the beautiful woodwork in the rooms all make this hotel our first choice whenever we visit Richmond.
Used to be a very classy hotel. We recently had a bad experience at the hotel which is not the norm.
Beautiful hotel. Had drinks and appetizers. Both were delicious!
I was very impressed during visiting this great place.
Came here for a high tea with a mother's organization. The Richmond tea was delicious! The food was yummy. I would definitely return.
Really nice happy hour deal at Lemaire. Great small plates and cocktails.
It was great! There were so many options for brunch! The food was great!
Room renovations are outstanding. Always excellent service and accommodations.
This is a grand property with stunning architectural features!
We enjoyed the afternoon tea at the Jefferson very much! The food was elegent and delicious and the ambience was wonderful! Highly recommended!
Great historical hotel. Service was average. Food was good but took forever.
Amazing food and an amazing server! Loved the muscles and the scallops.
Easily the nicest hotel I've stayed in. The staff are nothing but helpful as well.
I was just going in there for a school project but it was nice.
I attended a meeting at the Jefferson. The ball room was perfectly arranged for the event. What a lovely setting!
We went for a social event. The bar was nice but a little bit stand offish.
The sunday brunch was literally one of the best meals I've ever had. Fantastic. It is worth the price and the whole experience is just really great. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was really nice. The staff kinda looked down on us but the hotel itself was really nice. Worth it for special occasions. Make sure you book the brunch months in advance.
Magnificent atmosphere. Distinguished restaurant (pricey).
Attended for a company Christmas party. It was the most elegant, beautiful building I've ever been in. The staff friendly, and they were helpful without being condescending. The food prepared was decent enough, but the atmosphere more than made up for any complaints about portion equality.
Always a wonderful experience at the Jefferson hotel. The afternoon tea is fantastic!
It was ok to work there just not for me over all great place
Great restaurant downstairs. They have an amazing brunch on Sundays with a meat, vegetable, souffle, and omlete bar.
Sunday buffet brunch. Delectable except for quality of the carved rib roast. Impeccable service with utmost courtesy.
The service here is really top notch, the staff is freindly and the experience was beyond compre to other hotels we have stayed at. The rooms were amazing, and the location is convenient to a lot of local attractions and restaurants.
Will be staying again.
Beautiful hotel. Brunch was great. Would definitely go again.
I really enjoyed staying here. Would definitely come back.
Southern decadence, classy, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beyond delicious food.
Beautiful hotel but the bar was a bit slow. Still great though!
Great venue for hosting parties. Large dance floor. Easy access to restroom facilities. Lavish bars. Wonderful service.
Loved the setting and proximity to places downtown. While certain aspects could be tweaked, like not having vents blow directly on the bed, the overall setting can not be beat.
We had a little staycation at the Jefferson Hotel Richmond for our anniversary and had a couple of unfortunate incidents with noise and our room placement. They reached out to us and went above and beyond in their customer service to make it right. I couldn t have asked for a better response. Kudos to them and the front desk manager!
My favorite place to eat. I always end up getting the same amazing waiter. The Caesar salad was amazing and always is. Great atmosphere in the beautiful hotel.
Amazing food as always! We love Lemaire's top of the line food and presentation without the stuffiness of the typical fancy restaurant.
The Christmas tree is beautiful! Go if you can to see it.
Wonderful service great rooms amenities first class. Great wifi spam food is superb... the best place I have ever stayed.
I love this hotel! Staff is always friendly and helpful when I ask to see a room there.
Premier hotel in Richmond. Honestly too nice for me to have stayed there. Historic property but recently remodeled; nice combo of elegance and convenience.
We had our company Chistmas party here this year and it was a great event! The band Affirmative Groove had great songs and the food and drinks were good as well. The Christmas decorations and lights were beautiful!
The brunch lives up to its reputation. Great food, variety and excellent service.
Food was meh, decor was amazing, front desk staff not helpful
Beautiful landmark in Downtown Richmond. Great choice for that special event, or enjoy their fabulous Sunday Brunch. But call in advance for reservations, especially for the holidays.
Arrive a little early and you can find parking on the street. There are two seatings for the brunch and you may have to wait for a short period of time. But take advantage of the time and explore the gift shop and hotel. When making your reservation be aware that there are different seating areas. The upper level, you will need to come down the stairs for the buffet, the main floor, and the side room. I personally prefer the side room, it is smaller and more intimate.
The architecture is stunning and the historical pieces are on display. The stained glass is exquisite and during the Holiday season plan for time to gather your family on the opulent staircase for that perfect holiday portrait.
The buffet provides some incredible choices and they have the absolute best bacon you have ever tasted. The Jefferson eggs are an original recipe and quite yummy. But be careful, there are so many choices on the buffet from fruit, cheese, baked goods, carving station, dessert station, salads, fish and delectable miniature desserts.
So be sure to come hungry and enjoy this epicurean adventure. I highly recommend you try it once.
Fabulous hotel in downtown Richmond. Valet parking ($20 per night) is appreciated. Check in seamless but it was a bit odd to have people enjoying afternoon tea in the hotel lobby. Room and bathroom was spacious and spotless. Pool and gym areas are more than adequate. Dinned at TJ s for lunch and thought it was overpriced for mediocre food, service was fantastic though. Nice gift shop and area that talks about the history of the hotel. We did use their complementary shuttle service to dinner one night which was nice. They only travel to the downtown area, stop service at 10:45 pm and you need to call in advance to arrange a ride. The free coffee in the mornings along with the WSJ was welcomed. Ice machine down the hall and wine bottle opener in the room made our weekend seamless. My friend and I spent the weekend laying around the hotel and catching up. Will we stay here again next year.
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Attended for a professional event.
Beautiful hotel, stayed once, the rooms aren't anything special if you're into modern. But great to visit for the history
We came for appetizers and happy hour drinks in the bar. We had a wonderful time. The service was a bit slow but the atmosphere was amazing. Beautiful architecture and scenery. Overall we enjoyed our short stay. I would recommend this place and look forward to coming to stay overnight in the near future.
This is our third & last time here. Spa is a closet, & gym is a palace and empty of guests Get out of the 80s Jefferson & make room for a half decent spa. Not coming back.
A richmond Icon. Make sure you ask for a renovated room. Great place to visit during the holidays. Decor is lovely
Awesome Sunday Brunch. Should be on everyone's bucket list! Food to die for. Service fit for royalty. Ambiance abundant.
Disappointed in the amount of food for a tea service.
I attended a birthday party (for 6 people) at Jefferson Hotel and felt as if the amount of food we received had diminished from the last time I had been there a couple of years ago.
