The service is very very slow, and not a kids-friendly. I guess the stuff is it very young and unexperienced.
be sure you know what to order, since they will never replace anything. The 2 stars are because of they comp our beers after we waited for over an hour for our kids meals
Came in on our honeymoon because of the reviews and only brewery in area that was open on a Tuesday.... we expected better service, food was microwaved, beer was decently good and tasty but we waited 1 hour for nachos and had empty beers the whole time. Not sure if Covid ruined this place but the ambiance service and food is terrible
Good beer selection, staff nice atmosphere nice. Attched to brewery. Flatbread was amazing. Endive/arugula salad was good. Stuffed mushrooms I would say was interesting, didn't love it but didn't hate it either. Margarita was about a 6. If it had more tequila and used fresh lime juice it would have been better. Poboy shrimp was really good with slight kick. Shrimp cooked well.
Great cheeseburger and awesome Sweet potato fries!! Paired with a Hog Island White Shark Wheat beer. Perfect combination
This place has changed a bit over the years and while I liked it before, I love it now. Really nice vibe, amazing menu and it s spacious. The Carnitas tacos, curry chicken wrap and bangers and mash poutine are amazing. Plus it s right next door to a brewery, how fun is that?!
On June 17, 2018 I stopped here for a bite to eat in the early afternoon. I wasn't sure what to get, so I asked the waiter for a recommendation along with a flight of beer. He said the chef was trying out a spicy chicken sandwich made in a chili oil that wasn't on the menu and that it would likely be the only time I could try it due to the menu changing for the season, or some reason. Of course I had to order it, because how could you go wrong with a chicken sandwich?
I had no idea that this decision would change my life, and become the pinnacle of sandwich success and my comparing every other sandwich to.
Here I am, 18 months later, still telling people of the best sandwich I have ever had, constantly pulling up this picture I took of it and reliving the first moment I put it to my lips. The photo has been the background of my phone and reminds me of the happiest day my taste buds ever lived, and is currently the picture to bring me hope in June on my 2021 calendar. I cannot eat a single sandwich without comparing it to The One and then have it not live up to that day.
I have no idea if the sandwich ever made the menu, and haven't been back since I moved across the country, but I need to share this experience with you and the world, hoping that someone else might be able to head to this restaurant and experience the pure joy of tasting heaven itself.
Props to the chef that day, she changed my life.
Nice spot. Super fun atmosphere with very friendly staff. Delicious food & great beer! Best part is the pups are welcome on the patio & courtyard!
I'm glad I read through the reviews, all the bad ones are from 2 + years ago. Great experience with my son. Have the nachos and buffalo wings, and wachusett blueberry IPA. Enjoyed live music. Escaped a rainy Beach weekend with our Nintendo switch.
I tried this place in the past with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I enjoyed the good character and tasty dishes and drinks. Kudos.
Tavern Burger is excellent, immediately into my Pantheon of burgers. Beer is decent, I had the Hog island Summer Ale. Burger alone earns the 5 stars though, best one on the Cape.
