My family and I came to this restaurant last Friday, and honestly, we enjoyed it. The foods and drinks were all delicious and tasty. Besides, the waitress that entertained our order at that time was very nice and friendly. While waiting for our order, we take a photo with a nice view of the restaurant. Eventually, we came to realize that we will back here soon. Thanks!
Very cute, comfy little shop. The service was very nice, with a kind of homemade, refined rustic atmosphere. The gelato was just okay, but the coffee is actually amazing. Finally found a place where "iced" meant having ice that was blended properly into my drink rather than sad, chunky ice cubes floating liquid that make it watery and nasty at the end. Can't say anything about the food, because I haven't tried it yet.
Consistently an amazing dining experience! Definitely on the expensive side, but a memorable treat for special occasions. Everything we've ever tried there has been fantastic, and it's some of the best service in Los Angeles, super attentive and always with a smile! A very long time fixture in the Hollywood scene.
We sat indoors as outside was kind of bustling. They gave us a beautiful table by the window. All staff wore masks and followed CDC guidelines. They're even printed out and placed on your table as a courtesy. Tuna tartar was delicious, very subtle flavors. Grilled vegetable salad was hearty, bright, and the scallops were just perfect! The lovely decor and fresh flowers create such a charming atmosphere, and the servers are top notch, professional!
The service was great. The ambiance was beautiful. The food was really good. I had the crab cakes and the red velvet was to die for.
Interesting decor, fun spot, cheerful ambiance, mix of menu items... margaritas excellent, chicken enchiladas good, service good.
I ve been to the Ivy at least 50 times before. Always top notch food and service. But today, for the first time, I was exposed to their breakfast. I ve had better breakfasts with a lower bill in a hospital! Two over medium eggs, three pieces of bacon and two spoonful of black beans set me back $36! But the cost is only a secondary issue. It was so lame, so pitiful, so disappointing, that I absolutely had to share.
Very underwhelming - our server Mirabile was rude from the beginning - when he should have been grateful given the pandemic and people are going back out to eat again. I was having a business meeting and when we were done eating he visited our table 10x more than he did during our meal... then he eventually said they have people waiting for tables.... OK well I was a PAYING customer too and have the right to finish my drinks... unreal. Needless to say I won t be back to the Ivy not like they care but figured I would let anyone know that s considering ....just know they are rude and only care about table turnover.
Today was a great day to treat myself for a outstanding lunch. For starters something I ve been craving for a few months, I was delighted when I was reading my menu. Summer squash blossoms filled with creamy goat cheese beautiful light crisp it was perfect. I had the fish & chips as my main meal the seafood was crispy not greasy, the fish, calamari, scallops, shrimps and onion rings battered perfectly served also with a side of fresh coleslaw on a bed of french fries. The staff were super attentive to me, I was seated without reservations very fast. The restaurant is beautiful fresh cut flowers and fruit surrounded me very clean. Great atmosphere, I would definitely come back here and bring a loved one.
It was a nice experience for me for the first time. I never thought all of my favorite foods will be served this quick with their chef. I couldn't ask for more! I won't forget to tell all of my relatives and co-workers about this superior restaurant for sure. Thumbs up!
