The Island Golf Club Review

The new holes are a great addition to the course and settling in nicely.

This place is top quality. The course is right up there with the best links courses in UK & Ireland. The team at The Island are terrific and really add to the experience, I recommend you book a caddy if you've not played here before. Pray for good weather and you'll have a great time.

From the moment our party arrived we were treated like kings.
The starter was fantastic, gave us a good game plan and a fun history lesson

The island is without doubt one of the best links courses in Ireland but be warned it is also one of the toughest with massive sand dunes , it is in great condition and if you get some good weather your in for a treat . Best advice if you are a single figure handicap white tees are ok , green tees are also good but if you are high handicap stick with the yellows and you'll enjoy the round

The Island is a great links course. A really testing opening few holes that meander through a gorgeous setting. Looking back to Malahide from the 13th tee is something to behold, and what a par 3! We highly recommend this great golf course. Fond memories of getting the boat across to the club back in the 1970's...

Played The Island Hold Club September 3rd . This is the most Beautiful looking course I have ever played. I have never played a Links course so that added to my experience also. Where this course is located the views are unbelievable. If you ever go to Dublin it is
worth playing a around at The Island Golf Club. Staff is very nice and is definitely something to enjoy. If I go back or when I go back to Ireland, I will Definitely put this on my things to do list.

Very testing course with different challenges on each hole. Easy to see how it's a Championship course in the truest sense.

One of the best links courses in Dublin. Real challenge. Firm raised greens with lots of run-offs. Club house plain and unpretentious
Overall a must play course, but one of the tougher courses around. A lot of preparations currently under way for amature championship in July so course not at 100% at the moment.
