AMAZING! Don't think twice, just go. Super witty and hilarious. I don't normally write reviews, but if it helps another person have as much fun as I did, it's worth it. Loved it. I am now their fan

A highly talented ensemble. Can t imagine what it takes to improvise for over an hour using Shakespearean language from audience suggestion - it was the 21st of September . My first attendance at a long improvisation performance. Previous experience was viewing improvisations lasting from 5-15 minutes. Incredible!

In town with my wife and two teenage daughters (one of whom suggested we go to this) and it was the best part of the trip by far! We laughed nonstop for 2 hours. The actors were amazing and the waitresses and staff were all hard-working, friendly, and helpful. And for $20 it was so worth it! But the way the actors took the audience suggestion (The Taming of the Internet) and ran with it in true Shakespearean fashion, including some rhyming and some iambic pentameter, was simply fabulous. A must when in Chicago.

Went for my first time tonight and absolutely loved it. It s improv, obviously there will be moments where you disagree with the direction the show is going or where the cast may drop the ball, but I was laughing almost nonstop from beginning to end. I m talking about ow my side hurts, my face hurts, I can t stop laughing. The cast and show are different every night, so you can go every night and never see the same show again. Especially for only $20, it s a must-see experience. Also, shout out to the awesome table service before/during the show. Drink prices range from $3-12ish, and people seemed happy with the food, though I can t speak on that, personally.

I was in town for a few days... This was by far my favorite moment of the trip. I've done some improv.... But the difficulty level of what this group pits out is crazy. We laughed for two hours straight. Fantastic. I'm excited it's a new show every time so I can bring others back to watch again with me. You don't have to be a Shakespeare scholar to love what is being put on at the Improvised Shakespeare company.
