Asher, now Raider has been so great with us and our other cat DEWEY, perfect match for the both of our young kittens

The staff at this location were extremely rude and did not care about placing animals in well fitted homes. I made a viewing appointment and did not find one with a personality I felt fit mine and my home so I made another appointment to view different ones at a different time because with limited capacity they can only show 3 at a time. Upon returning the staff were again extremely rude and questioned if I was actually serious about adopting since I didn t choose the first one they showed me even after I explained that I wanted to find one that I felt was a good match. As an animal lover I am very disappointed in this experience as it made me not want to return to their facility, which is a shame for all the animals there that need homes.

This facility is amazing! The people are wonderful & the building is very clean, inside and out. Their adoption process is fast with the online adoption application. We got our beautiful gsd, Holly there & could not be happier.

The staff were all very responsive to extremely helpful. Patrice and the staff are all extremely knowledgeable about animal care. They go out of their way to ensure adoptions are successful. Thank you all so much!

Patricia at HSCI was wonderful! She responded to our emails and calls promptly and answered all of our questions thoroughly. While we ended up making the tough decision not to adopt the dog we met (after many hours of consideration), it was for the best. Patricia and the staff were kind, patient, understanding, and honest. They helped us make the most informed and responsible decision we could. They listened to what we were looking for and even sent a follow up email to see if we had found our furry friend. I have only positive things to say about Patricia and the rest of the staff.

Very friendly and accommodating. I have a new best friend. The ease of adoption makes me wonder why anyone would not do it. Second adoption for our family. A dog and a cat.

I love it. We got our baby kitten from them, thank you so much for placing these kittens w tractor supply to help shelter these kittens. It does pay off and our baby is already spoiled and well loved.

Receptionists are very rude. Hung up on me when I called. Called to adopt an animal and rather than being excited they made the process really difficult. Would rather drive to peoria or Pekin than deal with them again though i live in the community
