This is not just an antique store. It is a little history museum. We were in the neighborhood and had this store on our list of places to check out. We are glad we did. Meeting the super-friendly owner, Patrick Phoa and chatting with him about some of the historical elements in his store was a delight.

Interesting story: The Straits Times AND The National Archives both did not have a copy of the newspaper announcing Lee Kwan Yoo s first election victory, while Patrick had.

We saw so many fascinating pieces of Singaporean / South East Asian history in this little store.

Patrick was such a gracious host and even gifted us a vintage postcard he originally published, which has become a collectible in its own right.

If you re into historical pieces, this store should be on your list.

Never miss out this place!

And you'll find the owner Mr Patrick Phoa , a gentleman and one who'll willingly part much knowledge to you on antiques and collectables.

Travel back in time to the 1930-70s, this place is like a museum and the best part is you could actually own a piece of history. From vintage typewriters, lamps, signboards to intricate ornaments, it's really interesting.

Fun little shop to poke around in. Things are on the pricey side, but the owner was very chill about us touching things, asking questions and not buying anything, just admiring the collection.

He was happy to share his story and showcase some items. But seriously, it's a treasure trove of relics. Not mint condition by any means because they are just systematically stacked in mountains of stuff, but real things that you'd never find elsewhere from Singapore and the region. Items that were commonplace in the 60/70s - things that you can only see in a museum.
