This is the most beautiful hospital I have ever been to. Walking in is like a miniature museum of beautiful design. All the staff are 100% customer service focused. They hand out treats and snacks to visiting family. The environment is very soothing and feels like a hotel and not a hospital. It s very convenient to get to. There are great hotels right across the street. Free valet parking. I could list more and take up the whole page.
By far, the most efficient and friendly medical facility that I have visited in a long time.
Had the coronary calcium score screening and felt God's presence here. I was screened for COVID symptoms, then escorted to the registration office, greeted again and was checked in. I sat for a few minutes while another staff member greeted me and escorted me to another registration desk where my insurance, ID and small payment was taken for the screening. We chatted for a few minutes while my information was taken about our husbands and prayers being needed for our nation right now. It was such a nice visit and appreciated the small talk. I enjoyed the wall and desk displays on the desk too. Once finished, I walked around the corner where another staff member greeted me and explained the testing I was about to receive. He wasn't rushed and was very patient as I asked him a handful of questions. It was less than 10 minutes and I was on my way.
The results will come in a few days, but until then I was extremely happy with my care, attention and efficiency. I pray I don't have any serious issues with my health, but know if I do, I'll be in the best of hands.
Just wow! I just had to have a mitral valve repair. The doctor did a phenomenal job. The nurses are mostly very attentive. I came in on a Friday morning and left on Monday evening, so I really liked the weekend nurses. Monday seemed like they were spread thin and weren't communicating with each other as much when changing rooms. We got everything figured out, though. I would absolutely recommend this hospital. The doctors really know what they're doing and seem to genuinely care for the patients.
This Hospital took care of my momma after her heart attack. The Dr s gave the best treatment to get her on her way to recovery. The Dr s were thorough in giving information daily and got her stable enough to move to a rehab facility. Nursing staff was very attentive to mommas needs. This hospital is one of the best to take a loved one to in an emergency.
My husband who is 84 underwent a quadruple bypass at this hospital 3 1/2 weeks ago. I cannot say enough about the quality of care he received. Dr. Harrington and her team were phenomenal. His procedure went as planned and we were kept notified as it progressed. The nurses were the best in the world. My husband was treated like royalty. Not only him, but they were kind and attentive to the family as well. We could not be happier. His only disappointment was that his heart-shaped pillow signed by the nurses got lost in the shuffle. Both my parents have been procedures here and the Doctors and staff are phenomenal and the rooms are spacious and very nice.
My father 86 years young had quadruple bypass surgery here. While he was scared (I was terrified). But my concerns were proven unfounded other than loosing sleep over nothing. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE #1 HOSPITAL IN PLANO. And I ve sadly seen my fair share with back, knee, 4-heart surgeries along with others. The entire experience at Baylor Heart Hospital is a level above anything I ve ever seen. The doctors ALL overlap & interact in a magical way. My father came through fine. Went through rehab then on to my home. He s doing fine now and there is no slowing him down. THANK YOU ALL - BAYLOR HEART HOSPITAL.
ALL the people on the 5th floor are the greatest care takens ever. There is a huge difference between just doing you job and caring and showing it. When you enter the emergency room and are there days and days---they make all the difference. Heard them praying also one morning.
THIS HOSPITAL DISCRIMINATES against the DISABLED. What a JOKE that this Hospital PRETENDS to care about all patients as they would rather see me DIE then HELP ME or MY CHILD. They will let you DIE before helping and saving YOU. Baylor VIOLATES ADA LAW and discriminates against the disabled.
My family member had a triple bypass. Excellent work by the Heart surgeon and her team. The after care fluctuates between excellent and lacking. Pain medicine not given in a timely manner / at all. They only bathed her once in a week despite her requests.
At time of discharge they instructed her to call for her ride and then they still had not removed her PICC Line and when we called the nurses station they hung up on us without a response. Improvements are definitely needed with regard to after care and discharge. People do not always have time to waste and sit waiting for an PICC Line to be removed. Please be cognizant of other s time.
