The Hazelton Hotel Review

We are not influencers or carry any weight in terms social media following, but this hotel still cares. A rarity in today's focus on everything trendy, social media, gaining followers...

After submitting our honest experience with our stay and dinner during Valentines, the GM (Mr. Gaurav Dutta), reached out personally. My review was honest, it was not mean or harsh, it just explained our experience during our stay. That experience was not quite what I expected from Hazleton; I've known many people who have stayed there, and 5* and the best customer service, is what you hear.

Mr Guarav felt the strong need for my partner and I, to come experience what the Hazelton truly has to offer. I was a bit hesitant at first, but we decided to return again this weekend. As soon as we walked in, we felt the difference. From the warm and comfortably safe feeling we received when we entered the lobby, to our immaculate room, every detail, and note of my previous experience, was considered and improved on. Even a 5 Star hotel can always improve, and only the best like the Hazelton understand this.

We had a wonderful dinner in our room, with a beautiful table set up to enjoy. The dinner was amazing, the Branzino may be one of the best fish I've tasted in Toronto! Our plates we wiped clean, I'm a picky eater, so that says something!

As locals in Toronto, we tend to save our money and time to vacation elsewhere, however of course, with this pandemic, things have changed. I would in a heartbeat stay at the Hazelton again. We are excited for the Spa and Patio to open, to come enjoy everything this establishment has to offer; we are lucky to have them in our city. I truly do appreciate when a hotel/restaurant actually cares what their customers think. We are not ballers, influencers, or anything close to that; we are just local Torontonian, trying to navigate and unwind a bit during these difficult times; and I'm glad these types of people are important to the Hazelton.

Where to begin... So our wedding plans this year kept devolving due to the plague, and it ended up just being a very small ceremony and dinner on a patio. A week before the day, we thought, "hey, it would be a lot of fun to stay at a beautiful hotel." So we reached out to the Hazelton. They responded right away with excitement and encouragement. We felt incredibly welcomed and got the royal treatment when we arrived at the end of the night. They gave us spring water at the desk, took us to our room where there was chocolate strawberries and a hand-written note from the staff congratulating us. The room was EXTREMELY well-appointed and luxurious, the bed was comfy and big, and the service was beyond exceptional.

In the morning, we had delicious room service from One restaurant and slept in till 1pm! We would recommend the Hazelton to anyone that feels like treating themselves to an amazing experience.

Outstanding boutique hotel in a great location. Shops, restaurants and metro all very close by. The staff are outstanding and attentive. I give it 9/10 but with rounding it's 5/5. This is because for the price it costs the service received is expected. Beautiful gym and lap pool, and delicious drinks at the bar. The lobby is beautiful with plenty of seating. The hallways to the rooms are modernly dimly lit. Would definitely come back.

The best hotel experience in Toronto. 6 stars for service. 6 stars for room experience. 6 stars for courtesy and thoughtfulness. The staff are amazing. The look of the hotel is just fabulous. Amazing. Stunning. Fancy. Perfect place to enjoy luxury.

Incredible location, staff as very professional and warm and welcoming. There is no where else I would consider staying in Toronto. We have used the hotel multiple times and never been disappointed. The pool is great, my children love it, and breakfast in-room is an absolute must!

Stay in the hotel on Valentine s Day with my girl. The room is huge and beautiful. Outside window just facing on Yorkville Ave which is the center location of entire Yorkville. They provide us lovely amenities and a bottle of champagne. Dinner we had Valentine s special menu. Beef Wellington was really tasty. Crispy puff pastry and meat was cook perfectly at medium rare. Highly recommended to stay in the hotel.

I must say, my stay at the Hazelton Hotel was nothing short of fantastic! The service and rooms were impeccable!

Excellent from arrival onward! Staff at the Hazelton are exceptional. We spent a staycation night at the Hazelton to celebrate our wedding anniversary. At check-in we were upgraded to a luxury room by the wonderful host. Upon arrival at the room we were greeted by a lovely note and complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. The Hazelton is very likely Toronto's best hotel and for good reason.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and service. Wish we could've stayed longer. Was very sad leaving after a two night stay! Best hotel we've been at in all of Toronto in a great location.

We stayed here for my husband s birthday. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The food was amazing. The service was superb.
