These guys were amazing! I had fractured my finger two weeks out from a soccer grand final (as the goalie) and they managed to get it good enough to play with, as well as preventing any further damage. Very caring and enthusiastic, would highly recommend!

The Hands Physio has over fifteen years of experience in treating hand and upper limb injuries.

The Hands Physio was founded by Rebecca and Stephen Farr in 1998. Rebecca Farr graduated with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 1995, with first-class honors in research. She then went on to train at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, tutor at Sydney University in anatomy and physiology and later learn the ropes of private practice work in the outskirts of Sydney.

In response to the demand from hospitals, doctors, and industry for a hand therapy clinic in the Inner West, The Hands Physio was established. Rebecca s passion for helping people, coupled with her knowledge of anatomy, hand, and upper limb injuries and her innate business sense, provided a solid foundation for a clinic that provided excellence in hand therapy.

This is a dodgy operation

This is a dodgy operation
My doctor referred me to Rebecca Farr and they refused to book me in with her. I had to insist. So the initial appointment was with her with was ok however the subsequent appointments were with a trainee which I was not told was a trainee plus still paying the top rate for appointments. I saw the trainee for a couple of weeks, she told me I had large nodules which I had to massage every day, wear a splint and come in for appointments twice a week for her to assess and treat. At my last appointment, i asked one of the other Physios a question so she came over and looked at my hands and told me these weren't nodules at all but bones! So who knows how long I would have been going there to massage bones!! I complained but of course as dodgy operations work they've completely ignored me. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

I received treatment for lower back pain which was thorough & successful over the past 6 weeks. I've also had them help me with shoulder problems in the past. and again with great satisfaction. This included a very helpful continuing exercise program.

Would not recommend this place .Overpriced for the service. My initial visit came to $130 with the hidden cost of 2 paddel pop sticks at $8 which i was GIVEN .The session was less then 30 min with 10 min of it spent going through what i had already filled out on the computer prior to coming.Very disappointed in the service as very money driven rather than building customer rapport.

I suffered from DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis on both wrists and Amy was wonderful in working with me to get them back into tip-top shape. The Hands Physio equipped me with a tailored program to help resolve my pain and with continuous stretches and strengthening exercises, both my wrists were pretty much good as new withing 6 weeks. I would not hesitate in recommending The Hands Physio to anyone who has suffered a hand or arm injury.
