It was a wonderful find, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for our weekend plans. Laurie is a most welcoming host and makes a fabulous breakfast. I look forward to visiting again!

It's exactly as its name suggests, a slice of home. Comfortable, a little rustic, with everything you need at hand. Owner Laurie Littleford will spoil you at breakfast and then some. Need some marshmallows to toast over the firepit in the back yard? She's got them, and the sticks too. Need a mini-getaway? Sit in the private hot tub overlooking the hills. Miss your pet pooch and kitty? If you inquire, you might meet Peanut and Patch. By the way, Patch was raised as an orphan kitten with the dogs. So if you want him to come to you, you have to call "here puppy puppy". Our family of two adults and two teens was very comfy in the cottage. Laurie was very gracious and accommodating with special requests, such as gluten free options. She even did a load of laundry for us. Everything on the grounds was super neat and clean, with a splash of whimsey. I highly recommend a stay.

The place is comfy, cozy and spotless. The owner, Laurie, bends over backwards to accommodate her guests in every way possible. You'll love it!

We had a wonderful time at A Slice of Home. Laurie is the ultimate hostess with every detail covered in style. Her accommodations are immaculate and her breakfasts are delightful. She provides access to an outdoor jacuzzi, and fire pit (complete with s mores if you want them)! The location is super accessible to a lot of attractions in the Finger Lakes. You will love your stay at A Slice of Home!

Lori is great! She is such a nice lady and very accommodating! Beautiful B and B! It's in a nice quiet, and romantic place! Not far from a low key bar/restaurant with good good food with the option of take out. 30 minutes from the Glen and wine country. Waking up to a delicious breakfast capped off my stay on a high note! I would absolutely return!

Best B&B I stayed in; extremely clean, comfy bed, lots of space in rooms, awesome breakfast, superb service. The owner even sent me my shirt which I forgot in the room (I live 4 hrs away, by NYC). Boasts firepit and hot tub too! Thank you Lori!!!

A Slice of Home Bed & Breakfast was the perfect location when we attended the Spencer Van Etten school reunion at Holly Brook last weekend. What an awesome place! My wife and I stayed in the Annex Room, very spacious and completely comfortable. Laurie is a superb hostess who made us felt right at home. Thank you Laurie for the delicious breakfast. Great place to stay. It is a very pleasant setting, surrounded by open space yet close to center of Spencer and easy drive to Ithaca and sights of interest.

Extremely clean, yet atmosphere. Laurie is a delightful Innkeeper, cooked us a super breakfast each more. The night before asked us what we would like for breakfast and what time we would like to eat. During her busy season this may not be possible. Laurie, made us feel as if the house was our and to enjoy it. Nice livingroom to relax in and watch TV or read. It is very comfy.

Stayed here recently and had a wonderful time; the owner was most accommodating &I the rooms & dining area spotless. Also made use of the hot tub and outdoor table setting, can't go wrong staying here .

Absolutely the best place and the owner is amazing. We love it and we will continue to go there for many more years. The place is so comfortable that it feels like home. We enjoy staying there with our whole family and our dog. We recommended it highly.

Laurie is an angel. Her Bed and Breakfast is breathtaking. She goes above and beyond to help make your stay feel welcoming and appreciated. She offers accommodations above and beyond what would be expected. We stayed here 2 years in a row and definitely plan on returning. Laurie is extremely hospitable and her food is delicious. The grounds are beautiful. Sitting by the fire while watching the train crawl by in the distance was surreal; almost like a dream. The breakfast was lovely, the premises truly was a slice of home and best of all the hostess was delightful and very accommodating.
