If you don t like to take initiative, want a job just to get paid and don t care about not making a difference in the individual s lives, The Guild is the place for you to work! The staff are not appreciated. If you are looking for a manager position, you definitely won t be appreciated! Don t walk into that place expecting to make a difference. They won t allow it unless it comes from the higher leadership team. The Guild is a small company with a lot of politics involved. There s other companies to choose from!

I resided in one of their Watertown grouphomes, in the late 90's, and couldn't possibly say enough bad things about the place. They were abusive to the kids, violated basic human rights, because they probably figured the kids were so impared, that they just wouldn't know any better. I was probably the highest functioning kid they had, and they did not take too kindly to me advising other clients, that their rights were being violated. They also engaged in abusive practices, twords the kids there. I was kicked out in 1998, basically for smoking weed, but I think it was their excuse to get rid of me, because I was beginning to expose their crooked practices. I hope conditions have since improved.
