The class was highly informative, unlike other seminars (not Great Voice seminars), Susan and Mark keep an eye out for questions and comments and interact with their audience both in chat and through discussion, bringing the student up in the tool so they can talk live and discuss their question or point live instead of solely relying on chat.

Hi, I am new to the Voice Over profession, and was a bit nervous going through this experience (having my voice/performance reviewed). I worked with an experienced consultant named Mark. Clearly by his presentation and mannerisms, he has been a successful coach and has many years of experience from which to pull.
As we began, Mark made me feel at ease. We first discussed my background, and how I became involved with The Great Voice Co. Mark was willing shared information on how to obtain practice material as well as get familiar with work in the industry. He emphasized the need to not only have a good/trainable voice, but also be able to utilize the three remaining pillars to become a successful voice-over talent -- home studio, marketing and mindset.

During my script readings, Mark provided encouragement as well as helpful feedback on how I might improve. He explained how the types of scripts mirrored work found in the industry -- commercials, narratives, e-learning, etc. He had me practice each script at least twice.
As the session drew to a close, Mark asked if I had any additional questions and briefly answered each. Later, I received a written evaluation of my voice consultation, which showed encouragement as well as helpful feedback I could apply to my development. I felt the consultation was extremely useful.

I attended my 3rd Workshop for persons interested in building and expanding their Voice Over business the right way on yesterday. Just like the previous sessions the Workshop delivered exactly what it was advertised to deliver in an efficient, fun and professional manner with multiple opportunities for the 64 attendees to engage directly with the facilitators. It was like hiring a business coach for a fraction of the cost!
I have been impressed with The Great Voice Company since I started about a month ago. There is a real hands on feel about the company. They know their stuff plain and simple. Every aspect of the VO field is covered here. They steer you away from common mistakes all beginners are likely to make including myself. I did a script reading for Mark. He listened to my voice, gave me pointers and listed again and again. It was a great experience to be listened to and to receive real feedback (not just blowing smoke.....). After speaking to him at length, he emailed me answers to my questions. I am very pleased.
