I recently visited your store where there is clear posting for mandatory Mask however I witnessed a woman and her children shopping and purchasing merchandise without mask when ask about her wearing she refused but she was still provided service which was totally unfair to me, my family and all the other customers who frequent your business, although I enjoyed shopping there I felt I needed to return my purchase and take my business elsewhere. My purchase may not mean a lot to you but they are very important to me and my family.

Grassroots may be on the small side but that's one of my favorite parts about it. It certainly packs a powerful punch. Their vitamin selection is the best in the area, bar none. If you're looking for GF, allergy-free, & organic selections of any kind, this is the place to go. The owners & staff are friendly and always helpful; not to mention well-educated on their products.

Always had a great selection of everything. I sometimes go just to grab a sandwich for lunch. The staff are always nice and helpful. One time I had 4 1-gallon alkaline water and the staff offered to help me take it to my car- very thankful for that. My son loves their grapes. I have to make another visit soon for more vegan bread, locally produced kale sprouts, etc.... Also, the area is nice- right in the middle of the 5 points area! Parking is usually available and if not in their parking lot, in nearby side street.

In my opinion,Grassroots everyday prices are better than Vitamin Shoppe or GNC on vegan protein shakes...Love it

Awesome Community Natural food store. Great beer and wine department with tons of great organic and No Sulfite wines. Stellar Organics Cabernet Sauvignon is our favorite.

Great little grocery market for organic products and other items that fall under the "health food" umbrella. They carry a few items you can't find elsewhere in this part of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous. We really love this store.

We ordered at the counter & ate at a very nice outside seating area with birds chirping & a breeze. Yikes!! No pics, sorry...But you won't be disappointed, it's right in the central part of 5 Points, only about 3 blocks from the park at the river.... My falafel pita with 1 side of fruit was freshly made with fresh ingredients & cooked perfectly, lots of healthy & delicious flavor.

Great place to shop if you are like myself and prefer organic produce or fresh juice, its wonderful! And the staff is always very pleasant and helpful ,they also have a wonderful young man in the Nutrition department who is extremely knowledgeable on just about everything regarding nutritional supliments as well as anything else on the subject of health. He came from Native sun, and I am excited to see him here at my favorite neighborhood store.

Some regular items a bit of a higher price than mainstream grocery stores, but it has an abundance of gluten free, high protein, and lactose free options.

They have a HUGE amount of vitamins and supplements as well as a few specialty products. Their juices are top quality and delicious.
Here's why 2 stars.
I love across from a large grocery store. Every week my GF and I went out of our way to shop here weekly for about a year. Never once had even a slight conversation with anyone, never asked if i could use help finding anything, never any acknowledgement that i had ever been there before, and when i brought back rancid cheese, they couldn't care less. Also, I don't think I've seen them smile.
I don't need validation, or any other foofy bs. But, when you want to charge more for a product, and you are a small business, you have to do better than the larger stores.
You have to be able to interact in a positive way with people that spend a good amount of money every single week at your business.
Otherwise, they'll do what I'm doing. Going to Publix to get a better price, on the same products, and the same service.
I'm not paying more for less, I'd love to support small business, but they just seem to need it.

I mostly buy raw organic honey and braggs Apple cider vinegar but I have looked around and seen a lot of good stuff. I have tried the smoothies. They are ok.

Outstanding selection of healthy, vegetarian, vegam, plant-based foods and a very "healthy" selection of wine and beer. They spcecialize in searchin out organic and new/interesting beers and items not commonly available at other stores. Definietly a neighbirhood gem with great prices and I expect lots of opportunities for expansion in the future.

They have fresh juice which is the reason I go that far but service is a little slow

If my wallet could afford it, I d only shop there. The produce section is dreamy. They have really good vegan sandwiches to go and they also offer smoothies (the menu is on a HUGE board so there s definitely something for everyone). They have interesting drinks like CBD juices and a big variety of kombuchas. If you need supplements or vitamins, that s the place to go to. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Forgot about this hidden treasure until I decided to change my diet great selection of natural goods and I love the juice bar, the dare devil shot has a kick but gives a great boost.

Super healthy selection. I was pleasantly surprised. The only reason I gave them four star review instead of five stars was because they didn't have any bulk bins, and they're was a few times their selection had multiple plastic and no glass or paper options. So they were healthy but not as environmentally friendly as I hoped they would be.

One of a veryfew places I can get raw milk on a consistent basis. Veggies are great and reasonably priced. Parking can be tricky.

Small foot print but crammed with stuff. Large selection if eine beer, fruits & veg, vitamins natural cosmetics, frozen meats.

I m not vegan but this place is incredible! Awesome unique smoothies with protein powder you can t taste / doesn t feel grainy. Skip the chains and come here. Especially like the Cinna banana

I STILL CAN'T GET OVER THE RANGE OF PRODUCTS AND FOODS OFFERED HERE! NOT ONLY DID WE FIND RARE GOODIES FOR OURSELVES, BUT GREAT GIFTS FOR OTHERS TOO. WE PICKED UP ITEMS FOR THE MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN IN OUR LIVES... AND ORDERED YUMMY, NUTRITIOUS, REFRESHING JUICES ^_^

Lots of good vegan options in both grocery store and in-store prepared foods. Some off street parking available in lot behind store. Located in historic Five Points neighborhood. Local parks nearby for picnic lunch opportunities. Close to freeways, downtown.

I love this place! The staff is friendly, the food is good and the juice/smoothie bar is always tasty and fresh.

Great selection of foods and organic groceries here, as well as the smoothies. Just a tad crammed is all. Could use more room when waiting for a smoothie, and the menu is a bit disorganized with the writing, how everything is crammed together.

Grassroots is always a great experience. Local, friendly and comfortable. They have enough variety to meet your needs. They are the only store that sells the bread I can eat.

I used to shop here a lot and buy most of my groceries from here like 9-10 years ago. However, their prices have gone up drastically and it s not convenient for me to shop their anymore especially with all the increased competition and e-commerce having much more reasonable prices on the same products, brands of supplements and organic foods. Some of the items they are selling in their store I find the same exact brands and companies online and I receive them sometimes the same day or the next day right at my door step. I m pay a lot less then I would be paying if I would be shopping for thosecsane items at Grassroots. It just doesn t make sense to my to by something at Grassroots for example, $30 when I can go online and order the same item for 1/2 the price and not even pay for shipping. All I m saying is why jack your prices up so high when competitors charge less. That s how you loose business. Anyway other than that, it s an Ok store to shop at. They don t carry a lot of things and some brands but they ll tell you they can order it for you. But I m like, well I can order it myself. Why have you order it to the store just so you can double charge me. I understand they have expenses to pay and so forth because it s a business. But you re not fitting my budget then I m dumping you.

Workers are knowledgeable and if there is something they don't have they will find it for you.

Usually I like this place, but last time the woman at the register was on some kinda power trip..never heard an employee talk to a customer like she did to me. Guess people are smug here.

If you don't have much money this would not be the place to shop. What is needed is an organic food co-op in this area for those of us on a very tight budget. I have been in this store and the prices are so high. They need to set up a discount for low budget people of some sort. Show your pay stobe discount day. Something has to be done to keep us all healthy and not just the wealthy.
