An employee of this establishment sold me a bike that has a very bad frame. The damaged areas were bondo'd and stock loooking stickers placed over the area. I would not trust my bike with them.
Rode an 80-mile 2-day Ochoco National Forest gravel overnight with these guys this past weekend, and it was just awesome! The leaders, James (owner) and Kristen (asst manager), are extremely knowledgeable about the area, super fun, organized, and I felt well-supported and safe the whole ride. Plus, their shop and space is so hip (comfy seating area, and beer on tap, to boot!)! Looking forward to more rides and brews with these guys!

We were on a cross Oregon trip, when my buddy's derailer broke. 50 miles later riding it as a single speed, we found our way to the Good Bike Co. We rented a full suspension mountain bike from Good Bike. The service was amazing! They took the extra time to make sure my daughter got a mountain bike that fit her body. They also educated us to know how to fit a bike. We have been to numerous bike shops in Central Oregon and no one has ever taken he time to explain sizing. We really appreciate all the help and education. Thank you - we highly highly recommend Good Bike!!

Everyone there is great! Friendly, take the time to listen to what you re looking for, and super knowledgeable. In my case, I was looking for tune-ups and repairs on a couple of bikes that really needed some TLC. They helped me find the best options for me, got the work done quickly, and charged a fair price. Highly recommend!

We rented mountain bikes for the weekend in the Painted Hills. The bikes they had ready for us didn't fit our less than ideal bike rack. They then got two other sets of bikes ready for us (didn't stop until we found the right fit for our rack!). They went above and beyond in making sure that we were ready to go. Very much appreciated!
The fine folks at good bike company in Prineville helped us out with a very last minute rental and were super friendly and professional! They went way out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a trip into the Ochocos. I could not recommend them enough.

Having come to know James and his wife Natalie through their support of community events and their trusted employee Dave B through cycling circles, choosing to buy a Salsa Journeyman from GBC made good sense. Doing the 2021 Ochoco Overlander an event they created is one of my cycling goals so they knew what would help me get started. If you don t live in Prineville, trust me: it s worth the drive to meet & work with these folks. They walk the walk (bike the bike? ). Oh, and I *love* my new bike!

Great little bike shop on the main drag in Prineville. They are extremely knowledgeable. It's a small shop but don't be fooled the inventory is amazing. They also host great community events. And if you need a beer while you're shopping for a bike oh, they've got you covered! And during the current pandemic they are following very good social distancing protocols. I just got a great new helmet! So comfortable and the best new technology to protect my nut. If you haven't gotten a new helmet in the last five years, do yourself a favor and stop in and buy one.
I'm very pleased with Good Bike Co. I rented a bicycle from them for a weekend. They got me all set up and I had a marvelous time. Next visit I'll buy a riding kit!
First visit on my new bike. James was very pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. Currently, they are open from 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday. The shop is closed Sunday and Monday.

Great bicycle shop that is on the TransAmerican route, lots of nearby gravel and mountain biking so needed supplies or fixes are nearby. Beer (& non-alcohol drinks) for post ride refreshments. Friendly people, bikes and gear, in a great town!
We stopped by Good Bike in Prineville on our tour across Oregon and James was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He rebuilt a wheel we had destroyed, while we waited, and offered us up shade, water and plenty of good beta about the local riding.
I highly recommend this bike shop for getting work done on your bike, grabbing a cold beer after a ride, or renting a bike to explore the excellent riding in the Ochocos.
It was a one stop shop. The guys answered all my questions and got me the brand and components I was after, fast.These folks are not pushy and, I never got the feeling they were trying to up sell any products. Highly recommend
I ve purchased a couple bikes from the Good Bike Shop. I also have had my bikes serviced there. Every time I go to the shop it s a super warm welcome and a really positive vibe. The guys are very knowledgeable and can get you dialed in and ready to ride!
Super hipster bike shop with all the beer and sweet bikes. I brought a $400 bike in that was given to me but in pretty bad shape and he told me I should just get a new one... but to get mine working again it would be at least $200. So I bought it to another shop in town and got the bike working again for $5! James the owner seems legit but I'm not a bro biker and I'm on a budget.

I was camping in the forest for 4th of July weekend and am nowhere near a local. Check out the website and ride the gravel ride they have on there. It ll whoop ya. Big thanks to them for sharing for us tourists to prineville. We will be back for sure.
I called James a couple of weeks ago to pick his brain about some new hardpack tires for my bike. He was able to check availability on his #1 suggestion and saw there were 2 left. He ordered them straight away and I had them in 3 days. Also.. the tires are f-in spot on! Psyched!! It was a GOOD thing I called him. D.
Well I'm trying to hold back! Simple poor service! The owner tried to critique my bikes seat position handle bar! Maybe because I had purchased it somewhere else! I'm taking my services elsewhere!
I needed a scooter helmet for my son and was looking online but tried Good Bike instead because I m trying to shop local as much as I can. James was super kind and helpful, had a great selection, same prices as online, and we walked out with a helmet we knew fit properly.
Good bike company is AMAZING!!! The crew is super good with their customers and I truly feel they truly care about what's best. I believe they honestly care more about people being able to get out and ride vs wanting to get as much money as they can. Very honest people and they do great work. They have fixed my bike a few times and haven't been disappointed once!!
