Nice people, comfortable practices and great tips from other people there.
Best range in the Toledo area. Lots of targets, and a chipping green is a nice touch. Only down side is they do not take debit/card cards which is why I gave 4 stars.
Do you want to stop fooling around and get serious about your golf swing and ability to score? Then the teachers at this place can show you.
Believe me - I know. The golf swing has countless facets. Mediocre teachers point out dozens of trivialities - weight shift, turn, lower body, dominant arm, and similar nonsense. None of it helps, but it may sound good; enough to convince you only that golf is hard. But you'll never get any better. No skill is easier to Bulls**t teach than the golf swing, and most swing instructors are overwhelmingly lousy. (Not the worst teachers I've ever seen - I've been to law school!)
These Performance Institute teachers know the half dozen or so crucial components to the golf swing. They'll pinpoint what you're doing incorrectly and specify the precise correction. Practice and you'll fix it. They have the best personnel, and the best technology - without question. I was initially skeptical too . . .
They're also fine club-fitters, and they don't BS around about equipment either. But they're the best swing instructors you'll find. That's what you can say about them that you can't say about anyone else. Call Dave or Mike and pick their brains for 5 minutes about the golf swing - you'll see.
Great driving range. They use Titleist practice balls that are in great shape (small bucket $5). One of the things I don't like is they only have one putting green and it's pretty small. So alot of the times your trying to putt and have several people are trying to chip and it gets pretty conjested.
Had a GREAT club fitting today, they didn't try to sell me any clubs. In fact they bent one club to make the distance gap smaller.
Really nice driving range with natural surface, no turf mats. Good chipping area as well as practice bunker. Would be five stars if the ball machine took credit cards, make sure you bring cash as the pro shop is usually closed.
The main store doesn't open, always locked all the time. Business hours are not reflected accurately
Self service driving range. Ball rates at the vending machine are great, does not give change though. Open Dawn till dusk
Alex is ultra detail-oriented, but also isn't a golf nerd. He is the perfect combination of personability & content knowledge. Facility is functional & pricing is far more affordable than golf chain stores. I was very impressed.
Perfect place to go hone in your skills without distraction.
Best range on the area in terms of targets and good grass to hit of off.
Update: Changed to five stars after they have finally added a card reader to pay with credit/debit.
