A little theater but I like going here. Never too busy

Nice place to see a movie on St Simon's Island. The chairs are staggered so no one is "right" in front of you.

Nice place for an evening out if you are visiting the island.

Horrific customer service. Staff is rude from concessions to management. The manager is so rude and barked at us when we asked her when the concessions would be up and running. She has no business being in charge of anything. The only reason this theatre stays in business is because it's the only one. Going to the movies should be fun...the staff and experience here always manages to be a bad experience! Corporate PLEASE do something about the staff at this location!!!!! Pathetic.

Friendly staff, clean, every movie has been an excellent experience

Great movie theater with reasonable ticket prices. Parking can be difficult during busy times. Be sure to arrive early.

Old style theatre seats. Expensive tickets. Needs remodeling to charge those prices. Expensive concessions as well.

Compared to North East near NYC movie theaters this one is a gem. Easy parking, friendly service, no wait in line, comfortable seats, first run movies, and the price is right.

If I could give a less than one star review, I would but unfortunately google just won t let me. I went to see Deadpool 2, and couldn t because I didn t have my ID. This in its self is outrageous because I m 21 years old and have literally never in my entire life been asked for my ID to see a rated R movie. I ve been to this theatre and never been asked for ID for a rated R movie. She nastily told me that if you look under 30 they have to see your ID, I guess my boyfriend (who is the same age as me) looks 30. The whole thing doesn t make sense to me. You only take rules seriously sometimes? Ridiculous.

Love the flashback cinemas on Sunday and Wednesday!

Clean and not too large. Has a great concession area. Priced well. See movies quickly before they leave the theater. Be sure to use the rewards program.

Small, clean, theater with a nice staff made up of high school kids who were polite and handled everything while busy. Popcorn, drinks and snacks are a bit high priced. Missed not having stadium seating or the more comfortable reclining chairs as larger theaters have now. Still nice not having to leave the island to go to the movies.

GREAT! There only problem was that when it was cold (I KNOW SHOCKING... COLD IN SAINT SIMMONS) yes it happened, they had buying tickets in the SAME line as when you buy food and drinks. SOOOOOOO the wait was SUPER long! But over all very exciting and fun. AND great for the family or just you or EVEN your little squad.

Overall, I enjoyed seeing a movie here. The seats were comfortable, and there were no malfunctions. My only issue was that the service wasn't exactly friendly, the main lobby didn't feel very inviting, and the bathroom felt gross, along with a urinal that was out of order. All that aside, it was great.

It was a really small, deserted type of theater. Yes it was clean, and small. But compared to theaters I've been to. Total down scale.

This Cinema has 2 of 10 employees that act cordial to the customers! I really think if the employees there had a bucket of rocks they would throw them to keep customers out!!

If you get past the rocks and attitudes, bring a blanket because you will freeze!! Don t waste your time to ask them to cut the AC or fans to a minimum........ I d be scared they would use the temp control to get what the rocks don t sway away:(

The theatre I was in I could still hear the outside noise from the lobby. It was very irritating and made it hard to listen to the film.

The place had a a moldy, musty smell. Seats were a little beat up.

Great theater. Friendly staff. The "no problem" constantly does become quite wearisome.

Friendly staff, great selection of movies, delicious concessions and a wonderful atmosphere for the whole family. One of my favorite things to do on St. Simons.

Small theater with friendly staff. Shows the new stuff and some older ones on Wednesday and Sunday.

Mediocre service but typical for Glynn County theaters. The prices are exuberant considering the theater s quality, but they show movies so that earns them an extra star.

I like this theater, but the concessions are ridiculously expensive and they only give refills on large items.

Wonderful staff who are always friendly. Clean and well kept. Love going to the Echo restaurant at King and Prince to enjoy the ocean views and a cocktail after the movie. Great way to fill out a day trip.

I have been going to movies at The Island Cinema for many years and have always found the staff and management to be courteous and helpful. I know the management personally and they are dedicated to providing the best service and facilities possible. Keep up the good work. Island Cinema provides local folks with the best in cinema entertainment.

The workers were nice and the popcorn was fresh. They didn t have reserved seating.

I enjoy watching movies at this theater because it's usually fairly empty; a good place to avoid the crowds. They also show old movies at certain times, so that's always fun too.

Theater 4 absolutely reaks of the cat urine smell. The movie was on time and the sound system was good quality.

It s a very small theatre! It is clean though and the staff are friendly and respectful.They show great old movies there too. My kids and I really like going there.

Massive technical and customer service failure by Island Cinemas 7 - Georgia Theater Company on Sunday, May 24, 2015.

The audio center channel did not function for most of the 8:00 pm showing of Tomorrowland in theater 3 of Island Cinemas 7 in St. Simons Island, GA on Sunday, May 24, 2015.

Despite the staff being informed at least twice of the problem (by myself) and assurance the problem would be corrected, numerous customers were left wondering what the dialogue was between the cast of Tomorrowland for most of the movie.

Beyond the inability to correct the problem, staff did not offer any apologies (much less movie passes!) to numerous unhappy customers. As a matter of fact, no Island Cinema 7 staff was even visible to those leaving the theater.

Georgia Theater customers expect much better from Island Cinemas 7 both in the theater s ability to show a movie and in their ability to treat their customers in an appropriate matter.

Smaller movie theater but still very nice. They typically have different times than Brunswick so if they are not showing when you want there check out the island times.

Old style cinema. No stadium seating and no assigned seating. Tickets are expensive and a large popcorn combo with two drinks is $22. The better theater is in Brunswick.

Small theater. Wish they had better concession choices. Popcorn was not fresh. Customer service was ok. Very clean theaters. Do bring a sweater or jacket..they keep the theaters very cold.

Everyone was very polite and very friendly.. Surrounded by people that made the Cinemas look beautiful and very peaceful.. Loved the buttery popcorn it was so delicious.. Enjoyed everything about the island Cinemas.. Will return again very soon... Lots of movies I can choose from..

The first time I visited the movie wasn't working for us. After about 40 minutes of trying only to view the first 10 minutes the majority of people in that showing decided to just leave. The employees were very understanding and kind and gave us slips to come back to see any movie of our choosing. When visiting again experienced no problems and had a great time.

Need more help at concessions if everyone has to get tickets from there.

Clean, good popcorn & pretzel, but had to tell them to turn off the lights in the theater when the movie started

While it doesn't have any particularly amazing screens or special seating, the theater is clean and well-kept.
