Ask for all finance info & calculate a monthly "rent" based on that lasting 24 months (I was told this when applying for the facility). What happens when the $ runs out? the make you move to an even smaller place in a shared apartment. I think they misrepresent this in their website claiming there are available shared apt. for people on a budget. But they don't say they bankrupt the poor person & then make them move in with a stranger. Little communication btw depts. They say they are staffed according to the legal requirements but little attention to residents.Person who gives the tours oversells & overcommits services which are later said to be nonexistent. Told my 80+ yo parent they have to do everything by self. As for my pops, well I found him left in a common area with no clothes on. And then wonder why I get angry with the lack of service. It is, however, pretty clean. And most of the admin are deaf earned, but many staff work hard in difficult situations. Are there worse places? Likely. Are there better places? Yes. Bottom line: assisted? big overstatement .

Worked in skilled in activities. All I can say is Sara activity director needs to go. Not only does she violated the HIPPA law but horrible as a director. That unit won't change until she released from that duty. Because it will be the same result.
Residents are bored! And when people take tours to see the place they lie and say it's so many activities for the residents to do when that's completely a lie.

I am so grateful to Linda for giving us such a wonderful feeling of security and understanding of Allegria. Her care and concern for my father and his future transition has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you so much for your big heart, your professionalism and for sharing such a wealth of information. We can t thank you and Allegria enough !

Over the past ten months, after extremely long and arduous attempts to remain living alone and independently, it became clear that our young friend (67) was not going to be able to manage it. This decision came with much sadness, fear and trepidation.
He moved into the Fountains 11 days ago and the move has been transformational!! His life has already improved 110%. He (and we) are SO happy He s safe and secure in beautiful surroundings with a genuinely kind and caring staff!
Thank you Fountains, for providing such a lovely home.

I visited this place as a vendor. It's absolutely beautiful. They have a cafe, church, library, cabanas outside!

The residents all seemed happy and well cared for.

Staff was courteous and helpful.

Found where I want to retire!!!

Memory unit does not seem to have many activities for the residents. Where l volunteer residents are taken to activities, have art classes, ice cream socials, music participation, readings, pet visits, visits from schools, country rides, etc.
All the times I visit from PA, I am usually present with my brother and sister -in-law for 4 or more hours.
No one checks on them or check if my brother needs changed. Where I volunteer, every one is checked at least twice during each shift. I was a patient after surgery and experienced this care.
Also, about a year ago I mentioned that the window in the living room was off track and leaks air - especially when it is windy and cold especially today. Nothing has been done yet. The blinds on the windows still don't work properly and cannot easily be raised or lowered.
Also, one more thing, I have never seen anyone doing any house keeping in the building. There has been a dead cricket on the same spot on the floor for 5 days so far. Also, a bottle cap that has been behind the TV. Again, where I help, every room is cleaned and dusted daily plus wastebaskets are emptied daily.

I do commend you for all you do in caring for so many people and such a large establishment.
Sincerely,
Mary Hunter

I hope I am able to send a picture of the window I have mentioned.

Wow not happy Dads rent was paid until Jan 31, 2016. A misunderstanfibg really. Filed a police report with the Winslow police dept. We legally had until Jan 31, to finish moving Dad out. Apparently the Fountains had their housekeepibg dept clean out Dads apt what was left. As Dad is living with me. Went to pick up an oil painting of a ship my Dad carried back on a plane from obe of the islands 3o yrs ago excellent cond. and the Uss Constitution a lithograpgh excellent condition. Will not list everythibg stolen only reported 3 items stolen. Sentimental and pics to go to my terminally ill brothers new home. The staff laughed thought I was a comedy show as I did yell and rightfully so. Filed the police report all i want to know is who gave the orders to clean out and throw out stuff drom Dads apt and who is seen on the video camera holding Dads pictures. Will be following up with the police report and will pursue . The Fountains Haynes Mill Rd Atco NJ.
Will keep everyone posted as to let the Truth come
out. Bottom line who screwed up. Will also reveal their inadequate wellness center and how they never folllowed up with Dads PT INR results be your own health advovate for your loved ones. Fortunately i followed up with Dads Cardiologist. To be cont. What happened 1st time a police report of theft.. Figure it out. To be continued .....

This facility is gorgeous! My grandmother (God bless her soul), really enjoyed her final days here. It leaves me with great comfort knowing that she got to live out the rest of get life in a loving, caring environment. She even mentioned that during her time there, there was new ownership of the facility and they made her feel so at home! Thank you, Allegria!

My mother was in assisted living and the entire staff could not have been kinder towards her. They treated her and my family like their own family - with patience, dignity and genuine thoughtfulness throughout her stay. She has recently passed but I will always be grateful for the Fountains and would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need of compassionate caring of an elderly relative.

We couldn't be happier with Allegria! The staff is amazing and the care is top-notch. They treat my Mom like family, celebrating her birthday and remembering all the things she likes. She is thrilled with Allegria and so are we!
