Love this place. The rooms are very comfortable. The real benefits of this hotel is it's bar and restaurant. The outside seating has an incredible view of the beach and they even have live music outside most nights of the week. The prime rib beef sliders are amazing. The fish tacos are what you want as an app. Couldn't say enough good things about this place.

We were there for a special event and the space was nice. Its located on the ocean and there are great views from the indoor bar area as well as on the nice deck ourside. Food could have been better. Since we didnt stay overnight I can't address room accommodations but it appears it would be a nice place for a vacation.
Staff was friendly and prompt, great views and right at the ocean front. You can hear the soothing waves day and night. Restaurant surprised me, food was fantastic. Try the any of Salmon plates!

I traveled to Melbourne for a wedding. The wedding planner negotiated with the hotel that it would have a shuttle running that night to and from the venue. I booked my room based on this agreement. Fifteen minutes after booking, I contacted the hotel to reserve a spot on the shuttle.
I was told that not only was the hotel no longer honoring the agreement on the shuttle, it was not going to let me cancel my reservation. Even though my reservation was fifteen minutes old and in reliance of their promise, they were uninterested in helping.
I'm sure that somewhere in their clickwrap contract, they've disclaimed all liability for the things their customer service says. So I can't say this this is legally fraud. But it's ethically and professionally fraud. Don't trust anything this hotel tells you or your wedding planner. Don't make any decisions based on what they say.
Room was fine, except for the plaster in the shower, which was falling off the ceiling.

Nice hotel. During this time of pandemic they have several measures: clear shields for all from desk, mask is required as per state ordinance. Breakfast buffet is served by the staff and it's shielded with clear plexiglass as well. Parking is great but charged separately from my reservation per night. Several restaurants, supermarket (publix) and pharmacy all around.

Stayed for christmas, it was ok. Asked for beach view and got a great view of their construction. Maybe wait until renovations are done if you want the view for the price.
Room account was charged by other guests. Hotel charged my credit card for unauthorized expenses. Recommend you tell the hotel to require verification before accepting room charges. This is not automatic.
It was great dancing to Katty Shack and dining at Crowne Plaza Melbourne Beach on the beach!

Love the patio and the hotel front desk workers are great and very helpful. I also got lost outside looking for the beach access and the gentlemen saw me wondering in the dark alone (outside on patio after everything was closed) and he came over to me and helped me find my way in the dark. Everyone is so helpful. I travel to Florida 1 week out if every month and since December12th 2018 I've been searching for a hotel I can count on 1 week a month to be all that is advertised and I'm very happy to say I've found my slice of paradise here at Crown Plaza beachside Melbourne Florida.

Great place to sit right up on the ocean and enjoy good, reasonably priced food. Plus, sometimes there is live music! There are not many places like this in Brevard County.
Delivered pizza here, otherwise couldn't afford to be there!
If this is 4 stars then days inn is 8 stars. The shower had black mold. The sink fixtures looked like they had seen better days years ago. The bed was not comfortable. The staff was wonderful, accommodating & extremely warm. The hotel should not be open until they fix the rooms!
Nice rooms, clean pool, restaurant & tiki bar provides everything you need without leaving the hotel.
Love the outdoor seating. Especially when they have music Sunday afternoons.
Not good for kids or families. No thought for quiet hours. They can throw a party, but if you actually want to sleep go somewhere else!!!
The Crown Plaza is a great beach front hotel option in Melbourne. The the views are great and all the meals I have there have been enjoyable. The public areas of the hotel are clean and well maintained. The rooms show a little age but are clean and the beds are fantastic. Get an ocean view room and you won't be disappointed.
Everything about this hotel is positive from the atmosphere to the staff. Have not experienced anything negative while visiting this location.

Broken pipe & not notified. Move to a separate building that was old. Didn't discount my stay of 150. Then had to pay for breakfast. Wish I knew so I could of booked the Hilton.
Clean, great customer service, plenty of room and amenities.
Out of the 3 Rooms we booked 2 had a musty smell. I can tell from past experiences that the odor is coming from the dirty carpet. Living in the modern age good WiFi is essential, For the 2 nights we stayed the WiFi signal was terrible. The lobby was recently renovated and looks really nice. I just hope they l renovate the pool area!!
p.s. The pictures of the pool that are under the Photos section does not match what I saw on the property. When it comes to hospitality you should never promise something that you cannot deliver.

Crown plaza was a great venue and very comfortable place.
This Hotel has always been a great spot to enjoy the beach and good music. The restaurant is a little pricey and the drinks are regular priced hotel drinks. All and all the staff has always been excellent.
Absolutely enjoyed it. Beach views, not rediculously more expensive compared to other, non beach, nice hotels.
Just stayed there for 3 nights while attending a workshop. It's an updated location but shows some wear. Staff is it's best quality. Everyone i dealt with was warm and friendly. They quickly took care of a mechanical issue in my room.
Their fitness room is just a bit above average...several types of cardio machines and a rack of dumbbells.
One major issue was the main elevator for the south tower. Its extremely slow and the door takes for ever to open.
One other issue was there were significant gaps around the room door. This let a few bugs in.
The food was pretty good all week and the bar was lively.
In short, a pretty good place for a weekend get away or a week-long conference.
The property was very nice however my room smelled of mold and there was viable water damage on the ceiling
This is a very romantic place to eat dinner. A great breakfast buffet. Awesome view of the ocean! Nice indoor facility as well! Only downside is service is not always the best. Everything else makes up for it!
Clean and relaxing are only a couple things to say about the Crown. Comfy beds. Excellent pillows. Great tiki bar and the food and drinks on the deck are incredible!

They were able to check us in a bit early and were quick to rectify a complaint we had. Staff was courteous and quick to help every time. I love how the hotel is set up to have amazing views. Most, maybe all of the rooms, can see the ocean unlike other hotels where you have to be on the ocean side to see it. Room was nice and bed was one of the comfiest I've stayed in. We were even able to hook up our laptop to watch Stranger Things lol.

They don't handle large crowds well. It was an average stay for the price. Swimmers beware there are huge boulders in the water at the beach which scrap you up.
What a beautiful and wonderful place. Has everything you need for a very reasonable price! Best view of the ocean I've ever had having breakfast. Took surfing lessons too. Ended it all with a nice swim in their large warm pool!

They have an awesome pokemon go stop at their outside Pavillion. The food and drinks are great, a bit pricey but not too bad.
Located just outside of Cocoa Beach. The beaches here are beautiful, not crowded, clean, and well maintained. Hotel has private entrance to the beach. It also had a pool for the guests. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating. The menu includes a variety of fair and everything we tried was good, fresh, and reasonably priced. The front desk was very helpful, the bell hop was extremely friendly and extra helpful. My husband ran out of eye contact solution, the hotel did not have any in the sundry shop, so the bell hop ran to the local Walgreens and got some for him. A++ for the friendly service throughout our entire experience. We stayed in a standard room with two full sized beds. It is your average hotel room. A microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker are included. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool area. A nice place to relax in the evenings or enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. No complaints. I would stay here again.
The hotel overall was nice for an ocean front location. The rooms have an ocean view from the balconies, but they are not directly ocean facing. The restaurant is typical of a hot of this caliber. The bar/lounge is nice and also has a spacious outdoor deck with bar and food service. There is also direct beach access from the deck. This would be a nice place for a couple to come for a relaxing getaway.

We just had our wedding at the Crown on June 24th. Christina (our contact person) was Really great about getting every detail just right! I mean she had it all down pat! But!, there was a small issue with the meal count but it was quickly addressed (the only reason they didn't get 5 stars). I can HIGHLY recommend using this venue for any formal gathering! The food was great and the view from the ocean front rooms is really impressive! We both loved it all!
I used this hotel for a room block for my wedding weekend from 05/09 to 05/14. A day before flying out for my wedding, i received a call that the hotel was going to be closing for renovations, and that everyone booked would have to move to a new hotel the day after our wedding. My two glorious options were to have everyone stay at their hotel and then go next door and pay full price at an even more expensive hotel or we could try and get a room block for the even more expensive hotel. They did NOTHING to help make new renovations for my guests and that stress had to fall on me with only a few days left until the wedding.
Then, they offered a free shuttle to and from the venue due to the mistakes they made for our room block. This was confirmed multiple times with the manager. The shuttle DIDN T EVEN SHOW UP and my guests had to find ways to get to the venue which resulted in the ceremony started late.
Thank god for the professionalism of the manager at the nearby Hilton as they were able to accommodate us at an even better price. I will NEVER even think of giving business to this hotel again and i will be sure to let all of my traveling friends & family as well as local family & friends know of this horrible experience. Just truly awful.
