Bought your beef, veal, pork meatballs, and some baguettes on a Saturday, in prep for Sunday football after church. Decided to slice those baguettes, spread a little unsalted butter, garlic powder, moz/parm cheese and toast in the oven. Cooked those meatballs up on the stove top as directed. Poured the sauce into bowls and sliced those meatballs onto the toasted bread. Attempted a less messy meatball sub. We spooned the sauce on as we took each delicious bite. All of this to say, it was glorious! The sauce was light, simple and so perfect for the meatball and the bread. The meatballs were incredibly soft, wow. The sandwich looked so heavy but when I started eating, each incredient was NOT heavy but complimented the other. Nothing too greasy, nothing that seemed thick or artificial... it was so light and with a nice meatball and sauce flavor. We were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely buy this product again, worth the $10.00 as an alternate to eating out and when we want a break from home cooking. Thanks for making a tasty product.
Surprised to hear any negative reviews of Flying Meatballs- they are the best! Not only were their meatballs exceptionally delicious, their customer service is top notch. We've recommended Flying Meatballs to plenty of friends, who also find the gourmet specialties of the highest caliber. We can't say enough good things about them! Trust me just try them for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Very disappointed....... the predominant flavor of the sauce is salt. Meatballs were a combination of beef, pork and veal and were quite hard and not much flavor. I expected better flavor and texture from this product.
