The Fashion Class Reviews

After nearly 6 months of strict social distancing and outside contact, my 6.5 year old daughter was thrilled that she was going to do 'something' before the summer disappeared. I couldn't have picked a better COVID-SAFE activity in a big studio with sewing machines and maximum of six children spread apart for a week.

They adhered to every safety precaution and the teacher was beyond responsible and caring. Although, as much as it gave me comfort to see the studio sterile with only 5-6 children, it reminded me of just how many local businesses, that would otherwise be filled with summer campers, have suffered due to the lock down.

When I sent my daughter back in February for a day and a half of winter camp, the studio was at capacity with the level of energy you'd find at a place where kids are excited at drop off and eager to come back the following day.

My daughter got so much out of it. Yes there is sewing, but there's also drawing, designing, learning, listening, critical/spacial thinking, cutting, draping, and imaginative playing and creating. They have games in-between and do challenges with colors and fabric and themes. The kids really have a blast and the teacher is absolutely engaging.

My daughter has been going to The Fashion Class for a few years now. She loves it! It has been a great source of confidence for her too. I highly recommend it. The owner and staff are great. The fashion show at the end of each semester is priceless!!

My daughter has been taking classes at the fashion class for four years. In that time she has made some fantastic garments. She has learned a lot and has made some great friends who share her passion for fashion. This is a great school and one of the only ones to offer kids and teens hands-on fashion design and sewing classes. We love The Fashion Class! Thank you for all that you do!

My daughter has been coming to The Fashion class since she was 6 years old and she just LOVES it. They get the kids up and running on the sewing machines from the first class! She has been taking classes for 3 years and has progressed to the more advanced class where she designs and sews her own outfit-they even go shopping for the fabric. She has learned a lot of wonderful and useful skills; she uses math to help figure out how much fabric she needs and I love seeing her creating something out of nothing. We love this class!

My daughter took the class! We love this place! Well price, great teachers, amazing location. What she made at classes was really nice. I will bring all my friends kids here! They do fashion shows and fun events! Love love love!

There is nothing more awesome for a 9-year old to be complimented on her dress and be able to reply "thanks! I sewed it myself"! Super fun classes, the clothing is so cute and easy to wear. Best class ever!

Great, friendly and patient staff. Teaching is very understandable for the youngins. The space is bright, pretty, and sparkly! I will definitely sign up for additional classes!

we had been thinking of exploring this option for my 7.5 year old fashionista child for a while. when the pandemic hit, we weren't sure what would be possible, but The Fashion Class opened up for a few weeks of small groups and my daughter has fallen in love already! She has learned so much about outfits, sewing, style and informed me after the first day I needed to buy her a sewing machine and fabric for her to work on things at home. I am amazed at her sewing skills already and loved that they used the first day to make masks (with pleats!) we are hooked!

My 7-year-old and her friends LOVED the Maxi Runway party back in February 2020. Most parents also raved about their experience. The staff are some of the most helpful, caring, and dedicated instructors. I highly recommend booking a party here when they are available again and taking their online and in-person classes.

Awesome line up of fashion classes & love the summer camps. We have tried several online this summer and this by far the best as per my daughter. The cost of the camp was very reasonable & the teacher kept the kids quite engaged.
