today is a week after cataract surgery. I am satisfied with the surgery and all the folks I met during the process. There were contacts with several professionals prior to the surgery. Hindsight is 20/20, but I would have preferred to get more information about my surgery during the interview process. I don't recall an explanation of how the surgery was going to be done. I did some research on my own. I ask someone if they could talk about the surgery and they said they were internal medicine and didn't talk surgery. I did receive prompt pre and post telecom information from the clinic. I called the post op doctor and she answered my questions satisfactorily with a positive demeanor. It has been a steady, productive and successful process so far. I would recommend anyone to take a visit to this clinic for eye examinations and seek their professional advice. It is a business like operation with attention to detail with a personal touch. Everyone is upfront and provided most of my answers to questions.

I usually go see Dr Cothran twice a year, I m impress how gentle and welcoming they are!
The Institute has top technology, things have changed in the last 5 years and they are on top!
Before, I was diagnosed with potencial glaucoma for 30 years, Dr Cothran found this treat didn t exist, I m so glad to know any treatment isn t necessary!

I went for my regular eye exam as a new patient. From the very start, I was greeted with a (masked) smile and a friendly greeting. They took my temp and then I was off to the second floor. There I was greeted by a very nice receptionist, checked in and on my way to the doctor. A few moments later, I was called back by Dr. LaPlume, who by the way is an absolute hoot. He was kind, funny but most importantly very thorough and very good at explaining everything to me at my visit. I'm so glad I found this office.

Excellent compassionate care! Thanks Daniella you made Eric feel so comfortable with the eye drops! This helped get a great exam and we appreciate your warmth and level of professionalism. Our Dr. is also so caring and knowledgeable. We are looking forward to his surgery.

Dr Jeffrey Schwartz has NO bed side manners. He is rude and does not listen to his patients. You are hurdled in like sheep. No questions allowed. AVOID this place at all costs!

I would like to thank Dr. Steve and Dr. Rob Weinstock and the excellent staff at EIWF for the great experience during my recent cataract surgery. I know this is a routine surgery nowadays, but I still had some trepidation that first visit. But it was over before I knew it. You lie on the table, get a nice warm blanket and they start an IV. Then they put you under a machine and I remember wondering what it was and then they said, okay, all done now. And that was it! By the second day I was seeing like an eagle! And I had no idea how muted my vision had become. Everything is so much brighter and sharper and whiter! I was so excited about it that I almost called to see if we could move up my second appointment, but the days went quickly, and my second operation was easier than the first. I elected the mono vision, so I can see great at distance and can read quite clearly. I would highly recommend the surgery to anyone in need, and would highly recommend EIWF to everyone. There is no other place I would consider.

Had an emergency. Went to the Eye Institute without an appointment. Was first seen by a student named Alex. Actually thought he was a resident. He was so efficient and thorough. Followed up by Dr. Cothran. I just like her sunny attitude. She was coaching Alex with such ease. All around my emergency turned out half as bad. Thank you so much.

Had my second cataract done yesterday with Dr Desai. His staff is amazing and he is just the greatest. My vision is better than it was when I first stared wearing glasses at age 9. They are with you through every step explaining everything and Dr Desai is very sweet and patient. Highly recommended. Also a shout out to their nurse anesthetist who made sure I was always comfortable throughout. Great job !!!!

Everyone who was part of my experience for my eye exam was friendly professional and wonderful to deal with. Dr. Kirsch was the best. He has a great personality. He was very reassuring and made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything thoroughly. All in all a great visit

Had catarac surgery on both eyes within a year, recommend this practice to check yourself out. Made a world of difference for vision, only need glasses for reading now. Glad to go here, they are professional and will take care of you.
