Was an ok ride. If you want to see the fall colors your to late. They only did 1 fall foliage ride and that was before the leafs were changing. They do every weekend in Oct but it's there pumpkin patch ride for all the kids to pick a pumpkin right from the field. They stopped for 15 minutes on way back but theres nothing to get off and see or do. Would have been a bit better if the had someone talking to let you know any info of the area. You got to see all the junk behind a lot of the houses that the tracks run behind. There some trees but not like your in a forest. Cross over many roads and see a lot of the same people videoing the train. They must chase to catch every crossing. Wanted to take a picture of the engine when we got off the train but it unhooked and was gone by the time we got off the train. Went into the station to a post card. A bit pricey at $1.50 for 1 card. Was quit crowded from everyone trying to buy shirts and water. A train ride I wouldn't do again.

We took the pumpkin patch train ride. The employee's were very friendly. They had the cars decorated with fall leaves. It was about a 20 min ride to pumpkin patch, when we got there were greeted with employees smiling and waving to us. They had lots of pumpkins sitting around for the kids to choose from and had lots of places for pics and if that wasnt enough the had apple cider and cookies when we got back. Very nice would definitely recommend to go.

I'd like to say this was a great trip and well worth the 2 hour drive and $20 per person ticket but I can't. Although our drive along the turnpike was quite beautiful the views from the train were far more filled with junk yards and trash. The visit to the pumpkin patch...if you want to call it that, was 10 minutes tops before they herded us back on the train. They could do a lot more to make the trip enjoyable like a tour inside the train engine or more activities at the pumpkin patch. Really disappointed. I gave 3 stars only because my 2 year old grandson liked the train.

It was our first time on the Everett Railroad. What a way to experience the Martinsburg parade! Even though it was super hot we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back and bring the grandchildren next time.

We went on the "Santa Xpress" and it was very nice. The passenger cars were very toasty and clean. The staff was very nice and genuinely looked like they wanted to be there.

We will be back next year.

Time well spent here at the Everett RR. More and more, steam continues to thrive around this nation, and now it can be found in the railroad heart of the Keystone State. The number 11 is a real gem.

Took my family on the polar express to have cookies and hot coco with santa. Dress warm if you decide to go. The cookies and hot chocolate are after the train ride in a open tent and santa isnt there. He does visit you on the train and he looks great! He even stops so you can get photos with you and gives your chold a little gift bag. If your able to, purchase your tickets in the summer because thats the only discount i have ever seen offered .
