Literally the worst attorney ever. He mad a grievo...

Literally the worst attorney ever. He mad a grievous mistake two years ago on my closing and has refused to take responsibility. This error has caused harassment and the potential of 15-20k additional in lawsuit legal fees. He refuses to provide his insurance information due to his mistake. He is a coward and I would rather use someone with integrity than a liar and someone who doesn t accept responsibility for their mistakes.

Would not recommend this firm. They were recommended by my realtor. Closing was not delayed, but they waited until the very last day that our lender could afford to get the title search done, and then did not get a final closing HUD out until 630 PM the night before a 10 AM closing. In both instances my realtor had to physically go to their office to get them to do these items as they did not answer phone calls or emails from either my lender, realtor, or myself. Closing seemed to go well, but I found out a month later that they had not paid the homeowners insurance from the escrow as they were supposed to. Surprisingly they did actually return the lenders phone calls and were seemingly getting everything resolved, but it s now another month later and the insurance company just emailed to say they still don t have their money. Lender is now getting their legal team involved to resolve the matter. Needless to say, I would not recommend the Ellis firm.

Dealing with the office and attorney during my home purchases was so pain free and comfortable. The attorney was very friendly and he explained everything that we were signing and answered everything that we asked. Very reasonable price for his services. Highly recommended.

HORRIBLE. Recommended by our real estate agent, and it has been an absolute headache. This should not be a difficult transaction. Closing went fine but it was rescheduled as others have complained. Now I'm fighting them over money that they never paid out of escrow. I would not recommend using them if you have a choice. As others said, its impossible to get a hold of someone on the phone.

We closed on our house which went smooth. While closing we explained we would like to pick the check up for what was left over from selling our home. Once the new owner was on deed we called to see when our check was ready and no answer. The next day we called again and the phone stated number was not working. We reached out to the attorney via email and a secondary number and no responses. We drove by the attorney office several times and the door was locked and no one answered the door. 10 days after closing we got our realtor involved who managed to get our check from the attorney but he didnt even sign it is so we were back to square one. We did eventually get our money but is seemed that once the attorney made his money he was done and did not want to pay us or help us.

We closed on our home and it was a great experience he gave us a lot of helpful information along with even assisting me with any wholesaling deal or other real estate deals that I had and if I had any questions also, this is a great experience and I would recommend anybody to this attorney for any of their real estate needs

If you want your closing date thrown off be sure to use the Ellis Firm. Lender could not get in contact with them after many attempts. Incompetence personified.

Edit after closing: I am bumping my stars from 1 star to 2 stars. Grady was very nice and knowledgeable during the closing. I really liked how willing he was to explain everything and how he offered advice even after closing by just giving him a call if needed.
