Again , this does not deserve any stars. My son has been constantly bullied by pupils & staff. He has autism which they say is recognised but not one teacher has read the notes. After a few meetings & complaints they do nothing. My son wants to commit suicide & it s all because of this dam school

My honest opinion is that the dukeries academy is at its worst. With the stricter uniform rules and every student has to have a natural hair colour. Also it is bad as the doors lock so you cant get in or out the corridors without a teacher. It is like a prison.

Doesn t deserve one star. Care more about covering up secrets and their own backs than the kids Terrible school that looks bad, a few good staff but all end up leaving because they realise how bad the school is

This school in my opinion would not be suitable for any child with a disability. For example, children with ADHD or Autism. They seem incapable of making reasonable adjustments to accommodate such students. Life for the parents of these children is a constant struggle and this school sadly will not be supportive and lacks flexibility. You will be reminded numerous times that it is a main stream school and be made to feel the best solution would be to remove your child if you have any safe guarding concerns. And most of these concerns will be surrounding the behaviour of teachers towards your child not fellow students. Any plans put in place will not be adhered to by all staff. There is a distinct lack of communication within the school setting. Teachers could learn from each other as some teachers work extremely well with these children. More training should be available to staff around disability and how to avoid any potential triggers.
