Small store. Not a lot of inventory. You can find rare items.

#1 place for retro games. Shop gamexchange, replays, and gamestop only AFT3R checking disc connection. They have the best prices on the best titles. "Quality over wuantity" applies here.

If they don't have it, they can get it quickly! And the price for what I'm looking for is usually well within my budget. They're not trying to mess anyone over. They're just gamers trying to make a living helping other gamers. Their retro selection is AMAZING!

The go to place in town for retro gaming! Friendly, knowledgeable staff! They also have cool projects they offer, such as tweaked N64 consoles made to play in high definition!

Bought a DS For my daughter the guys there were down to earth and nice and friendly. They could not find the Stylo that fit but have is about 4-5 that didn't fit.

Picked up a first gen wii from these guys for a great price a while back. The customer service was great. Definitely will go back there when the old school game nostalgia kicks in.

One of the best holes in the wall I've ever been. The guy that runs it is super knowledgeable and has just about anything you could think of for sale. All systems are represented and the amount of modding they do is insane. Check these guys out of you're ever in Memphis, TN!!!!!!

Really cool shop. The guys there are pretty cool, they do excellent repair work of games and systems. Their shop is small, but they've got a decent selection of old games. And, unlike some other stores, any game you buy they will plug in and boot up to show that it works before they sell it to you. I highly recommend it.

We just discovered this store a few weeks ago and its our go to to find older games. The only downside is that the older consoles are outrageously priced.

My husband and I go in there weekly. They have a great selection. Make sure that if you don't see what your looking for, you ask them because they probably have it in the back. The guys are great that work in there and very knowledgeable. Best game place we've found so far!

Went to disc connection for the first time, and they didn't disappoint! I felt like a kid going in here and just being overwhelmed with nostalgia. I bought a N64, two controllers, and five games under $200

This video game store has so much to offer gamers. Doesn't matter if you play casual games or a hardcore collector. They have something that you want, and most importantly at a fair price. Plus they can repair your system or controller's.

Awesome and honest guy, he checked out a busted disc I had got online and he was able to fix it pretty quickly and let me test it out in the store. In addition, his amount of games is incredible.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable on everything gaming, past and present. Good variety and quick to advertise popular pieces. Personally requested on two separate occasions to hold specific titles for me until I got back in town and they did just so. 10/10

I don t usually write reviews but these guys are the real deal my xbox was giving me so much trouble and they took there time and found out to problem now it s working smoother then it ever ran they also super cleaned my Ps5 which made it run even smoother my go to for any thing console related

I don t shop for video games much, so I didn t know where to begin looking when I needed a copy of one of childhood favorite N64 games. After calling 7 game stores and striking out, I found The Disc Connection. They had exactly the game I was looking for and were so friendly and professional in helping me over the phone. When I arrived at the store 20 minutes later, they had the game waiting for me, all cleaned up and ready to go. The store has a killer selection of N64 games and so much more (I was too excited to play my new game that I didn t stay very long to look at everything). I ll definitely be shopping here next time I want to dig up some more nostalgia.

Have been a fan and a customer of the DC since they opened. Having moved away from Memphis however I am still a customer usually via their Facebook posts. This is an awesome store run by some awesome people who really know their trade. If you re a customer of theirs then definitely add them on fb and keep up with their new arrivals. Keep up the fb posts and I ll keep buying!

Amazing place to finally get a hold of your interests. Books, dvds, games, and other little cute things inside the store that you may want. Been coming here for years now and they are very honest, friendly, smart, good guys. Kevin and Chris, just to name a couple. Super good and on their game guys. I can only give 5 stars, but if I could give 12 stars then I would!!!!!

Tucked away in a small plaza in the historic district of Bartlett, The Disc Connection is a hidden gem that offers gamers an experience that cannot be found at other traditional game retailers. At first glance, the store does not look like much. But, do not let the exterior fool you. The disc connection offers better service than any other game store. They offer game and console repair, they pay a high amount for used gear, and they sell software and hardware that can not be found anywhere else.
The Disc Connection will repair just about anything, from Atari to the most current generation console, and they do it at an affordable price. From broken controllers to scratched-up discs, they will fix it quickly and affordably.
Because The Disc Connection is not part of a major corporate machine, they can set their own prices and the way they wish to do business. This greatly benefits the customer. They want your business and they will work with you. Giant retailers like GameStop must follow a specific protocol when it comes to how they buy and sell. This is a complaint many customers have about that retailer, and in the end, will be the chain s ultimate demise. However, The Disc Connection will accept just about any machine that plays video games.
They do offer current gen gaming, but their expertise lies within a rare knowledge that can not be found elsewhere. This is where one goes when he or she is looking for something rare or specific that a typical internet search won t answer. Their stock is much greater than what is on display. So, it is good to ask if you don t see it. If they do not have it, they can find it for you.

Its a pretty small store and can be easy to miss if you are a speedy driver. If you are into vintage gaming then this is the place for you. They have awesome inventory. The staff is really nice. They also repair discs with light scratches.

Fixed two of my old consoles in a matter of days. Did it cheaply too. This place also sells games and consoles for reasonable prices.

These guys know their stuff. I could not stump them asking about obscure and rare games. I thought some of my stuff was worth more but they took the time to show me the actual market price for my stuff and it was totally fair. Cool guys.

So glad to have found this store. The guys in the store are super cool and efficient. We got some video games repaired, bought some more games while we were there, and my son played on the arcade style video games while we waited. A very nice find.

Nice guys with a cool shop. It feels like a 80's garage fix-it shop but with some legit items to purchase too. Good customer service and return policy.

Great little store. Seems small, but has some great selection. Found some great hard-to-find Dreamcast games for good prices. Owner (didn t catch his name) was really friendly and knowledgeable.

When visiting this place you will need patience. The staff is courteous.

The guys here are awesome! They are very nice and they will give you the best price for your old games or systems that you have in your house. I highly recommend them! They treat you as if you are family as soon as you walk in the door!

The only place I found that will buy refurbished consoles. They also have competitive prices and a unique collection of classical games.
