Knowledgeable, chill guy. I went in for a quote, and he took time out of his day to give me his honest, professional opinion. He couldn't help me because of how deteriorated my paint is, but he gave me some tips on how to prevent further damage, and even referred me to other shops if I ever wanted to get my car repainted. I highly suggest doing business with him, he knows what he's doing, and isn't in it just for the money

Detailing pros saved my $4k wheels.
A wheel polishing/clear coating business in Orange County (Baid Polish) deep scratched, hologramed and milk clouded the finish on my new polished aluminum wheels in their attempt to clear coat my wheels. Mel corrected the extensive damage, polished them to a mirror shine, and applied a ceramic clear coat creating a better than new finish.

Very unprofessional business...i brought a car there for an estimate on a detail and the guy that works there was pretty rude and talked with an attitude guy thinks he knows what he's talking about but apparently dosen't...i would not use this business and they might even damage your car as well.

Mel was a huge help today! I came to get some work done on my truck but instead walked out of there more knowledgeable on how to take care of my paint. Instead of charging me he simply gave me very helpful tips and sent me on my way to do it myself. Hes a very trustworthy person and would never steer you in the wrong direction. If I ever need good work done he will forever be my go to. Highly recommend if you want things done right! Thanks Mel have a blessed day!

If your looking for a quick, cheap detail job, stop a guy with a pick up truck and a hand painted sign for $30 and let him wreck your finish (then go see HB Detailing Pros). If you want the best paint restoration and protection you can get for your car or truck (possibly anywhere!) then see Mel Craig at HB Detailing Pros. If you can please my wife's sense of quality you have to be a Pro! She absolutely loves the meticulous restoration and ceramic coating job done by Mel on her 2013 Audi A6...and hey, I do too. The paint literally glows, with every scratch and swirl mark now polished out to a smooth, better than "factory fresh" finish. The ceramic coating over the paint restoration means that in 15 minutes with some rinse-less car wash and a microfiber cloth, it looks just like it did the day Mel finished it, EVERY DAY! With all the contaminants in the air around here, (you know...you see it the very next day after a detail, that coat of dust and grime) this is the ONLY way to go if you love your car as much as my wife does. This is NOT your $30 "detail" and realize it or not it is those cheap details that ruin your car's finish over time. When they're done destroying your paint...GO SEE MEL, you get what you pay for.

Called to ask for a price quote on a engine bay detailing, and tells me he wont touch my car without doing a full detailing service because engine bay detailing is a add on cleaning service. Other places are quoting me around 200-400, and when I told him that he started getting in fine details about how pricing goes up per hour for him, and that he wont even touch my car if I'm looking for a price like that. Like sorry my money isnt good enough for you at the 200-400 dollar price for a simple engine bay dust cleaning I'm requesting. I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars on 1 detail when I can go to a car detailing service where every 10th detail is free and just as good with their 4 hour average detailing time, and it's a fraction of what he wants. Then when asked about pricing on full detailing after I told him I'm very picky on how my engine bay is cleaned because of the supercharger, he starts talking about how he charged for a detailing at 3500 dollars on a 300k car build which he gets first place every car show(guy got ripped off) and says I pay for what I get. I don't drive my 2010 Camaro in the mud, and I do my own wipers on my engine on my garage kept car with 8k on the motor. Seems you get people who have too much money to spend, and you take advantage of them. Well I'm not going to be one of them. So after this he tries to pass me off to rhino detailing because he says he is generally booked 3 months out which he could of told me in the beginning. Then he cuts me off telling me to stop while I'm speaking about how rhino detailing referred me to somewhere else because they dont want to touch my engine either since they do basic cleaning. I don't need a showroom detailing, I just need a safe cleaning. Sorry but I'm happy to spend my money elsewhere where someone is going to give me better customer service, and not be taken advantage of how you do with all these rich people. I could care less if you are well known, and on some TV show frequently after you had to brag to me about how well known you are by the way. I ended up hanging up on him because I couldn't take his arrogance anymore.

Mel is amazing. Just an open and honest guy who knows his stuff. Does great work and really gets into the details of doing the work with great quality.

Horrible customer service...talked to the guy that apparently runs the place and has the worst attitude I've ever seen ..talks like he knows what he's doing but I woukd not recommend this place for business take your car somewhere else.

Just saw Mel on an episode of Wheeler Dealers, did an amazing job on a late model Bronco for Mike and Ant. Wow! Wish I were closer to bring my truck to him!

Two of our employees were trained by legendary Mel Craig at The Detailing Pros. I am glad that we made this decision. It was totally worth having our staff fly to California all the way from Canada. Mel truly knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. The after training support is also great.

Totally took care of my girl friends car. It looks brand new so shiny and clean and not only that he taught us how to properly care for our cars from now on. Can't beat service like this.

Hands down the best in the business. At first I was really skeptical because a pair of lips will tell you anything but when I got my truck back, I was blown away. These guys cleaned and detailed in places I didn't even think to look and took even special care since my vehicle is wrapped. Needless to say, I will be a repeat customer.

I've had all my cars done here and refuse to let anybody else touch my cars. Mel is without a doubt an industry expert in paint protection and borderline mad scientist with his extensive knowledge of how chemicals react with different paint types. Solid crew and amazing results.

I know it's only a min-van but I Love it and Mel made her shine! The detailing they went to cleaning the cracks in the seats. Great work and amazing team!
